Just for clarification cause of etn twitter account is spamming regarding the kyc deadline.
Is it possible to send etn without kyc before the deadline ends?
I was able to send larger amounts (4 digits) around from the ETN web wallet until my KYC was approved which let's me think there should be no problem at all sending them until the deadline. Maybe try it first with some smaller amounts to be on the safe side as my opinion isn't a garantee at all.

Lol, why i give some advices i encounter another problem right now with the webwallet. Now i just wanted to login and now i get this: Sorry! It looks like your social media account doesn't have an email address associated with it.
We'll need that to get you set up, so you might want to create an account manually.
It's quick, we promise! Nothing changed on my facebook account, there is an email adress as it was all the time bevor. Now i went throught he KYC process and got 3 level verified and now i can't login, lol. Anybody else having the same problem? What's the solution? When i make another account i have again through the KYC process?

Lol, sorry mate, somehow i readed "will be stuck", sorry mate (this one made me really laugh). Strange, tried eventually going through level 1 verification? If i remember right it's only attaching the cell phone number (too many KYC i made these days to remember the first step for ETN). Maybe it's worth a try? Contacted support? You used a Pay ID in the transaction right and didn't mess up the fields for wallet/payid?

Some have concerns with the implementation of KYC, but this is a REQUIREMENT of ANY crypto that is serious about going MAINSTREAM!!
Bitcoin is much more mainstream than ETN is (and most probably, will ever be). No KYC requirement for using BTC wallets though.

I have one new question. I read on reddit that only maximum 5phones/1 ip can mine ETN without getting locked (stop mining). If my family let 8phones/1ip (same wi-fi network) why in the morning they see message "unable to coonect, please check your internet connection" ? Is true that only 5phone, 5 different accounts /1ip are allowed?

Hi. I just have a question. I have my smartphone with me. Can I mine with this? (Xiaomi Mi Max) And will it be profitable or just plain stupidity? I don't want to ever destroy my device but I am really curious about it. I don't want my time wasted mining then I can't even have ROI. Thanks if anyone is answering this!
If you use it as a spade and dig the ground with it, you may find a coin or two. What currency you will get, just depends on the country you are sitting upon. Although with all the tourists going around the world these days, you never know what you may find buried in the ground. If you dig near a 5 star resort, you may find a diamond ring or a Rolex. Good luck!

Bitcoin is much more mainstream than ETN is (and most probably, will ever be). No KYC requirement for using BTC wallets though. Ethereum and XRP as well. Yeah... I think KYC defeat the purpose of crypto. Obviously ETN is not anymore a privacy coin. But for Crypto not to be banned or sabotaged by authorities, some how it will need to be regulated and holders will have to be identified, otherwise authorities will just kill the gig. In any case to move your BTC out and make them spendable money, at the time of this writing, you need to move them to an exchange convert them to Fiat (not the car) and to withdraw you need to be ID verified. So..... ... Yes I know there are a couple multi millions euros homes for sale and the sellers take Bitcoins, although they want +30% more of the advertised price at the closing, just to compensate for any price fluctuation... Said that, I complied and filled up the KYC form, just in case the day I would like to bail out fast, I do not want to have restriction on how much I can move from my wallet. Hopefully I will never have to do that, but who knows...

no, you're wrong, most of the purchase / sale of bitcoins takes place outside the exchanges. for example Sasha sells 1 bitcoin to Natasha (for example, an ad in a newspaper or on the Internet) - they both do not need to be verified. but if it is ETN - they both need verification.

These are valid concerns KYC against the spirit of privacy and stay anonymous which any project totally centralized like normal life project Paypal. I moved my tokens to exchange wallet because of this policy and making mind to convert them with any other tokens as I don't like this condition.

You may think that you live in some private Utopia, but in reality, KYC and AML has always been on the path of every crypto currency. Those that will adapt the fastest, will win.

First of all ETN never was a privacy coin, and wasn't advertised as such. Just because it was forked from Monero, doesn't mean it has to be "private". Second you only have to do KYC if you want to use Electroneum app, which isn't mandatory. I own ETN and don't plan to verify my ID or using app. Just keep your coins on exchange or better move them to you cli-wallet address, so you have full control.

This is for sure NOT TRUE for several reasons. While it's an option it's absolutly for sure not the most used one. And just additionally, IF you buy another crypto coin with BTC you sold BTC as well, just as a sidenote. And you can sell/buy ETN without KYC, just keep them in your cli wallet, easy as that. No rocket science at all. There is No mandatory update/KYC for all wallets in place, just the webwallet. Don't like KYC don't use the webwallet, simple and easy as that.

I have contacted the support and they canceled my transaction. Reason why it doesn't work: for a 6 digit amount i have to leave more than 5 etn on my webwallet cause the transaction may be splitted into some seperate blocks of etn. -.- finally i was able to send all of my etn to cli-wallet with several transactions.
