I would recommend MEW for anyone wanting to store ERC20 tokens.

I think MEW is a user friendly wallet because its very easy to use and all who want to use it is welcome. The bad side i see is that it is limited only on the web. Security is fine if your private key is secured but if it is not, your wallet is very easy to access.

I do, so far MEW run so smooth and good. But, i heard many issues about phising. And, surely must carefull when open this Wallet site, cause many phising site scam in MEW name. And, for me MEW is part of life, my money come from that bridge.

MEW is probably the best and most trust wallet out there, and that's for several reason. First of all it's a decentralized wallet, which means it's non-profit and no one has to gain something from depositing or withdrawing coins (which is very important) secondly, the platform is not storing any type of private or public keys, which makes it extremely safe but at the same time you risk the chance of losing these keys by yourself, which in case that happens you will not be able to retrieve them from MEW. It's a double edged sword like anything in the world. But it is still the safest and best and probably most widely used wallet out there. I hope to be seeing more of these open source projects popping up. MEW started from nothing and look at it now.

I used to use it in the old days, then I went for parity and metamask wallets. They're better than MEW, at least didn't have any problem for the partcipation of the projects.

With MEW, I had many problems in the past days.

Who uses this wallet? - https://www.myetherwallet.com/
What say about him?

I also had that crypto wallet MEW, so far I don't have any troubles with that wallet, this wallet mostly peoples choice they trust this wallet because no negative feedback. As long as you have your private key they did not steal your altcoins or token in your wallet. I hope this wallet will continued their services to us.

Those who want to lose money, I am using mist only. I do not trust my ether wallet or such wallets in internet. Even though it is open source, it can be manipulated any time.
Can you explain this a little?
How it can be manipulated and why do you think it is not safe? No one can take your funds unless someone knows your private keys. No one can know your private keys unless you are victim of phishing site or you have keylogger. I've been using it for long time and it is pretty safe wallet.

I am using it. I have only one weakness about it: need to be very careful and don't lose private key. Or send to someone and lose all coins

All users of myetherwallet are need to be very carefully. We need to keep well our private key, because in just a litte mistake we can lose our money in our wallet,  just make sure that you will always seperate your private key to your wallet address.

In my opinion, it's quite hard to use. I was trying to add custom tokens and it has taken for me some time to get it done.
My father is an active internet user (56 yo) - he wouldn't manage to do the same I guess.
