You should not disclose information to anyone about your wallet. Whatever hacked him

I use it as my main ETH wallet and for ICOs. Be careful if you use the exact correct site because there are many scam sites pretending to be it!

As long as you realize that you are storing value on the blockchain but that the interface MEW provides is web-based. This means that you need to be safe to make sure you get to keep your assets safe.

Yeah I use it, have couple of different wallets main and side wallets for drops and etc.
Watch out for phishing sites, make yourself a bookmark for mew Smiley

ps: have a question, read an article about crypto-wallets and it was mentioned that MEW has a 2 factor authentication - but personally never came across it.
Maybe it is a mistake or misspelling?!

Don't like mew. Too easy to log in and you have to use your private key.

I use the wallet for storing low valued ERC-20 tokens.
Because I didn't want to take the effort of installing a desktop wallet for just some tokens, myetherwallet is quick and easy.
Also compared to other webwallets, this one seems the most stable and populair wallet.

Definitely steamrolls the competition in terms of online ledgers. metamask is also good but with all things centralized it is highly recommended that you keep your funds primarily on a hardware wallet like Trezor or Ledger Nano S.

Good luck investing!

I see a lot of people in this forum for various reasons choose Myetherwallet but others choose other wallets but that's all their choice and I keep using MEW for my own reasons

MEW is very popular for Ethereum users. It's a minimalist wallet with all features you need in using eth.

An open source, javascript, client-side tool for generating Ethererum Wallets & sending transactions. Created by kvhnuke and tayvano.

I'm also using my etherwallet.

Its safest and verry easy to use.but for security purposes your security key is most so always keep save your security key.

Its a great platform and wallet for ethereum. This is highly recommended if you are holding altcoins and tokens. Its safe if you know how to avoid phishing sites of MEW. there are several phishing attempts of this site and a lot of victims. I think thats the only threat as well as to newbies. So be safe everyone.

MyEtherWallet is actually a good platform to store your ethereum safely. The security of the wallet is good too there are different ways to unlock your wallet like private key or a there's some kind of a document file that you would have to download after making the wallet. MyEtherWallet is also an ERC20 token accepting wallet so you can also different kinds of tokens at the same time so managing them also because kind of easy. My ether wallet is hassles to use.

Who uses this wallet? - https://www.myetherwallet.com/
What say about him?

I have been using myetherwallet for my Ethereums and my Ethereum-based coins. I have not encountered some problems with the wallet so far. It is doing perfectly great. There were several news though about Ethereum wallets having been hacked. I guess myetherwallet had also some hacking incidents in the past. The same is true with parity. I think security in ethereum wallets is not tightly sealed. There might be some tiny loopholes.

I believe everybody here uses MEW. It is safe if your device has not been compromised, so it's kinda safe - it all depends on you.

While working with ICOs I found that not so many people use MEW. Some of them used wallets like Freewallet. They participated in ICOs and lost their money in a blink of an eye.

So I think everybody should check all the data by himself.

What say about him?

I have been used myetherwallet since I know trading and mining. I think MEW is best wallet for ETH and any other Erc20 Tokens and it's secure if we not share our private key.
