Some airdrops are just scam because they just want to get the information of some people. When you fill up the form, some require the information of private key and for those people who doesn't know the importance of private key, they easily get swayed and give it out only to find out later that their coins are already gone. There are some airdrops that are legit and may have some value. You just have to wait for sometime for the coin to have some value because many of them are late bloomers and some are being hype but with no real value but you can still benefit from when you sell at the right time.

For me its dipinds on the airdrop because not all airdrop are succesful airdrop, that can give benefit for us who are interested in airdrop. Nevertheless I am interested to follow airdrop because airdrop is free coins so, less of effort but we have the possibility to earn in simple singing in their sites.

But sometimes it's a waste of time like you almost joined them all but still your wallet is empty and mostly of the airdrops now just want to have many followers in twitter as they require you before you can join in the airdrop you must follow and retweet their tweets, yeah it's fine but sometimes they're just fooling the participants like do this and those but still you got nothing.
As I can see the airdrops before really gives us money like we're so hook with it and that's why now they're taking the advantage of it.

I think yess maybe some coins do not have high value or do not have value all it is still have benefits..
despite joining aidrop is completely free and easy to join.

maybe later or sooner coins you get from airdrop will have a value who knows

sometimes, yes. NOT always, just dont rely on it so much. if you try to make "free money" try to get into project like bounty campaign

maybe some airdrop only, but not all. some sometimes lead to fraud and data misuse, so I guess you should always be careful.

Yeah, there was a time when the free ebtc airdrop reached up to 4,000 USD in worth and that's when I believe the hype began with airdrops. They never reached the heights of what ebtc reached but they got the idea. However, I personally don't like them because bitcointalk is spammed with a lot of toxic airdrops cluttering the forum.

Airdrops are cool if you are patient enough...there are airdrops can help generate cash for little projects you might have in hand. Currently airdropa are giving me small cash that i use to buy into potential profitable ICOs

Yes ofcourse cause they give you token if you joined their airdrop and you qualify their spreadsheet you can hold the token they give until the token has a value in market you can already sell it wp.

Airdrop is one effective way to present a coin freely into community this can benefit both and is a win2x situation from the developers and participants if succeeded. Sometimes I only knew some coins because of this airdrop and if i realize how profitable that coin in the future because of strong development its time to hodl and buy more.

Well i guess airdrop gives benefits in a way that you can get the tokens for free without investing anything. And if you are lucky enough to get a token that have a higher demand in the market, then it would be very benefial to your part. But airdrop doesnt have security. So for you to a have sure income, join campaigns.

benefit to whom , to deveopers?  yes, it helps developers create community and supporters. an exchangers need supporters if not the token may be rejected. Bitcoin gold airdrop is benefit too bitcoin holders to add more cash in the wallet. More possesion to turn into more bitcoin. This is free coin with high price. BTG and BCH are the same but new airdrop? Am not sure the opportunity.

Well yes airdrop can give profit if the coin become valuable but it takes time. Its very easy to join by just signing up and then wait. But some airdrops are scam and just want to get the information of the users so beware.

Fast priced coins are usually not worth investing in...so why would you want to participate in their airdrop?

Define "huge"? Some airdrops got me $20. Some got me $500-800. But neither of these are "huge" in my books.
I prefer airdrops with a potential to earn over $1k, but these are getting ridiculously rare.
Which is why now might be a good time to study alternative and unorthodox types of airdrops. Because airdrops are changing and evolving too.

A real life example. I am taking part in Prom Testnet Campaign.
At first glance, it looks just like the ordinary airdrop quest - you got a testnet, you claim test $PROM from the faucet, you make transactions and mint NFTs and tokens.
But the fun part is that the rewards for the Testnet Campaign are not tokens.
Although 1 million $PROM will be distributed as a prize pool, they are not the actual reward, since these tokens will be locked from external use.
Meaning you can't sell them or transfer them or swap them.

For the current model, the number is extraordinary, with tasks almost the same as participating in a social media giveaway campaign on Bounthies altcoins. I myself am participating in the AIM token airdrop.
