Don't we have all of these spams and shit posts? they are here regardless, so why not charging $0.1 per post if you are going to wear a signature?
Do you even know why your governments ask for tax from you? because they can't run a country for free, when you are posting for free and even are getting paid for it, you'll get Bitcointalk.org lol part 3.
Why does the tax get dragged here? Anyway, getting paid by posting is a reward and only those who are deserving should have it. People often forgot that this is a "forum" after all. No need to elaborate what is a forum, what it should contain, etc.

Tax was dragged here by hair to gang bang, if that's OK with you? I beg of you let me jump the tax. 2 lol minus 1. don't you think forum members should pay tax? we're here posting, we're getting at least $1 per post, if we'd pay %10 to the forum, they could hire more moderators to stop people from abusing this community. you could post whatever for free, mods would deal with you as per the rules while you are not wearing any signature, but when you wear one then you must pay $0.1 per post as tax to the forum. imagine after pasting the signature code into your profile, the first post tried to be submitted by you would've redirected you to a page where it asks you to purchase activity coins, 1:$0.1 and 1 activity coin:1 post.
Note: I'm not talking about my own activity tokens which I created on Waves. 1 lol plus 3.

Can't we just ban campaign managers who don't blacklist these types of spammers though?

Someone who just posts phrases completely void of any information shouldn't be getting paid, since they are actively creating a bad image around crypto and the projects they are supposed to promote with their actions.

It would be a bit excessive IMO. They aren't guilty of paying people to spam. They are guilty of neglecting their job as managers and not monitoring users like they should be.
If people are spamming they are negatively impacting the campaign and through it the business that paid for this campaign.
It's not like campaign managers have to get banned straight off when a spammer gets through the sieve every now and then. But they should be held accountable in some way if they repeatedly proceed payments for spammers. It seems like the easiest way to solve the issue, since there are far less managers than spamming accounts.
It's going to be difficult to stop spamming without stopping the root cause of it, which are the monetary rewards that these spammers get.

I have proposed that badly run campaigns have their entire threads trashed and possibly accounts banned for those that do nothing about spam and pay hundreds-unlimited users for whatever crap they can be bothered to churn out, but as usual nothing is done about it. If there's no repercussions for laziness or ineptitude then why would anyone bother to actually do any hard work when they don't need to? The forum is a sinking ship just circling the drain at this point and if something doesn't change quick there's only one place it'll go.

The bad guys they spam more and more frantic, I do not understand why not banned them all.  Huh Huh Huh

It's tedious, time-consuming and thankless work banning people which is ultimately pointless when people just evade their ban on half a dozen alt accounts and shit campaigns continue to pay them to do so, but many accounts are banned once spotted, such as yourself. Your entire post history here consists of one or two line shitposts posted purely for payment and from what I can see you have contributed absolutely nothing of value.

I agree. Although having multiple accounts is allowed, account farming should be specifically not allowed. A lot of people are taking advantage of this and making accounts even if they will just rank it up by making copy and paste posts or shitty and non sense posts. Bitcoin has already did some actions to it banning those who copied paste and proxyban for those who are creating accounts consecutively in the same IP address. But I think it should make more action in order to stop the account farming. Perhaps having the post be constructive and original to be counted as activity.

The only thing we can do right now is report farm accounts as spam and hope moderators address it.

It would be great if there was a way to publicly see how many times an account was reported so bounty campaign managers could easily tell if an account should be removed from the campaign. This eases some of the burden away from moderators.

Any good campaign manager will know whether they are a good candidate or not, unfortunately at the moment there's very few managers that actually care about running the campaign and just allow anyone to join and continue spamming. I don't think making reports public will have any benefit as they don't care as long as they are getting paid anyway.

The only way to combat the spam is to report it and because a lot of campaigns have public participant lists it might be easier to actually find the ones that are spamming.

But making the info public would make it easier for campaign managers to do what they should be doing by making it much less tedious.

I agree with the sinking ship assessment, which is why I tried to bring something up in this thread as well. Hopefully something will be done about this problem soon, since it would be sad to see Bitcointalk become a wasteland.

I'm not really sure what else could be done though, since making the banning of lazy managers and/or spammers desirable would actually require a monetary reward of some sort if it's supposed to be sustainable. But who would actually put out for that if not the campaign runners themselves?

Perhaps if it was required to make a small payment to the admins to even be able to advertise an ICO, which then would be a kind of "service charge" to ban lazy managers from managing (if not posting) and spammers from spamming, we might get somewhere.

That could also lower the amount of blatant scams.

What do you think?

There should be a 0 tolerance policy for spammers. If you're caught spamming you should get nuked and start from scratch, so that there's no chance that you'll by mistake get paid for the posts you managed to fart out before getting banned.

Just look at the shit some people are posting:

Yes Its True Some Friends Have to  Advantage only

Yes i did for almost 3 years of my life. Bitcoin was beautiful with alt coin

Yes

No

Sometimes
All those guys won't stay on the forum for long be sure, sooner or later their accounts will be blocked by the moderator. But nothing stops them to start everything from the most beginning.

I'm pretty sure that the moderators don't get paid that well, as it's been stated before unless that's changed recently. Plus, the advertisements alone should cover the staffs 'wages' and then some. Millions has been donated to the forum, that's what the new forum is being funded by.

Free? Lol. They are paid! I'm not saying how much they are paid whether a lot or not but I'm sure its enough. Or are you saying to hire 10 new mods? Then no. That's too much. A bit exaggerated in my opinion.

What I only suggested is to add 1 admin and not to add a couple of mods here. As you see, mods' authority is limited. Admins are busy handling multiple concerns. What's with 3 admins? What will they do? Like I said to other topics like this: 1st admin would be the chief admin and the development of the forum is on his hand which is theymos while the 2nd will be the one in charge for bitcointalk support i.e. recovering hacked accounts and etc; the last one will be the one responsible for all the issues regarding forum rules i.e. bans, ban appeal, implementing new rules and etc.

I think the wage for another admin is not that heavy to result to a negative income or unable to allocate some of the forum's income to the forum itself. Frankly, I would say, forum's savings is enough. It is said that it will be used for hiring someone to develop the forum software but theymos decides to just do it himself since he can't entrust this to others.

The forum's advertising bids are public, so you can dig that up if you're interested.
Of course the forum has more expenses than just moderators, and I don't feel any need to know the details.

But, if even hilariousetc (Global Moderator on his other account) calls it "a sinking ship", that shows there are disagreements higher up the forum's food chain.

I can't help but think the many shitposters just contribute to forum activity, that gives more banner impressions, and in the end the forum earns from it. If that's the case, the forum doesn't care that the quality of posts keeps dropping.
All I can do, is report spam. The problem is many shitposters post just enough "quality" to not be considered spam, even though none of their posts contributes anything useful.

The quotes in the op lead to non-existent posts so I'm assuming they've already been nuked.
This one got away:
I've already seen some similar ICO, why are you different?

I stumbled upon a spam monkey post here, and decided to dig deeper now.

Please also consider banning these:
