anyone give some info about ICOs?
whats the category of good and bad ICO for investment?
how to detect it SCAM or NOT?

You're right, many ICOs now emerge and their project. Best thing to do when you invest in ICOs project first look at their platform and have a member that always active in telegram.
Research about their company then you will know either scam or not. Always careful when putting in investment in any ICOs project because some of them are fake.

There is a lot question regarding this question. i would say that you should never believe anyone here. Just do your own research and decide. so when the ico fail or gain no one to blame and consider it as experience in cryptoworld.

You should do your own research, for a long time, before you invest. You just need to read carefully the white paper, look at the social media channels and the community and of course the team behind the ICO.

Please note that it is not safe to buy tokens for ICO'S that the purpose is to Invest Money. The good ICO's are the one that their Tokens are Utilities and not Securities, such as Trade.io. If it's a utility then it is safe to buy Tokens, if not then think about it before making the move

I don't invest ICOs. We can buy cheaper price in exchange sites after ICO Cheesy
What about buying tokens on the pre-sale with some really significant bonus? Isn't it similar, in your experience?

if I think ICO successful it is ICO with clear goals and not too provide a great gift. now many ICO that offers payment very much but at the end of project, ICO become projects failed.
My advice observe the manager and team of ico you want to invest

ICOs are the worst kind of investment for someone just getting into crypto. You will lose out the vast majority of the time as they are all speculative and none of them hold any real long term potential. People are looking to dump it as soon as it hits the market, and even if people aren't then the developers or the investors are because they know it's just a scam.

You can't determine if ICO's are good or not and especially if it's a scam because it's always on the end they bring that bad smell they have and just leave behind investors after collecting some funds. I am not saying you would not invest in an ICO because they are good one to start with and almost good crypto that successful this days start at that point, you just have to be extra careful of selecting them and read every detail that connects to a good intentions and potential of that ICO. And one more you don't really have to put all eggs in one basket just invest what you can afford to lose cause if ends it's a scam site it's not that hard to think of how much you have invested.

Hi, guys! I invite you to participate in this good ICO.

VIABET is a cryptocurrency based cloud betting platform, casino and peer-to- peer sports betting site. They act as the technological launching pad that allows regular players as well as gaming companies to create and launch their own casino games. They create the games, they launch them, they promote them. They share the profits with our token holders

Well I think you will have less likely being scammed by a company that is already formed before the ICO is launched.  To invest in a company that is new and has no base of operation is kinda risky.  Many of these ICO are fake and they take photos from stock photo websites to use for there team.  So if you dont wanna take too much risk find an established company that is launching one. I found a few already.  also use the white paper and research all the aspects, plus ICO should be clear as well, the ICO should be distributed fairly.

First of all I look at tree things:
1. Whitepaper (read several times and learn)
2. Team and Advisors (do not be lazy and find some information about them and their reputation)
3. Project ( It must be well understanding and primising project)

According to this thread:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2248251.0

After launching an ICO project, the regulators will typically post information about the project on this forum. Some other sites also provide information on ICO projects such as Coinschedule, Icotracker, which you can refer to. To detect an ICO is good or bad you need to learn and analyze it thoroughly. Learn about the development team, if they are experienced, technical level and highly trusted, that would be better. A clear roadmap with specific objectives will also be needed. Another characteristic is that the project get the trust from many experienced people. This is just my opinion Cheesy

the whitepaper is always a good place to start when evaluating the project, read it thoroughly and see whether it makes any sense or not, if it's something too fancy and it looks unatainable, don't invest in it! It should be something realistic that can be implemented. The second most important thing is the team, make sure the team has the technical know-how to implement the solution and the experience. The terms of the ICO should be clear as well, the distribution should be fair and realistic, if it's not - keep away.

According to this one crypto newsletter, more than 400 ICOs launched last week. So when the others here are warning you to get into ICOs, they're correct – the market is flooded by shitcoins and it's very difficult to distinguish good ones from bad in any reasonable amount of time.

I personally have not invested in any except for one that I have a personal connection to. But if I were to provide some guidance for selecting good ones – I work for a company that tokenizes equity and helps companies with their ICOs –, here's what I would say:

  • Check the team's track record and expertise
  • Research news and reviews from industry experts
  • Look for existing code (or a product) – whitepaper should not be enough!

Beyond that, the best maxim to follow is still "don't invest what you can't afford to lose". Especially, if you are new to the game.

In my view though, the ICO market is getting pretty close to being disrupted itself. Legally sound ICOs are on the way. There's a whole world of attractive, real world value tokens beyond the current generation of "shitcoins".

I don't invest ICOs. We can buy cheaper price in exchange sites after ICO Cheesy

Personally I don't invest in ICO too, maybe we can buy the much cheaper price but in terms of the distribution, I think the investors who invest in the ICO will have a greater return because when the crowdsale ends or during the crowdsale, they already have their coin so they can sell right away the price of the coin is only new to the exchanger. These investors would not invest in such project if they know that they can but the coin in cheaper prices in exchangers. They are traders too, and they know that the return of investment is greater as long as they don't get scammed in the ICO.

You should do your own research, for a long time, before you invest. You just need to read carefully the white paper, look at the social media channels and the community and of course the team behind the ICO.
Check this out: https://ico.crowdholding.com/

The service itself plays a great role in this and the developers of the project too, but at the end of the day, the people who are investing and the bounty participants are not really committed in these ICO so they will just dump the coin before dawn and if the project will keep its timeline or roadmap it would take years before they can recover the price.
