why are people suffering from jealousy ?

In my social life, I have experienced many issues which stem from jealousy. Most of the people have a tendency for being jealous of successful, hardworking people. What is the reason for this envy .. I want to know your opinion of this issue.

Jealousy is a natural, instinctive emotion that everyone experiences at one point or another.  It is a feeling of possessiveness, insecurity or shame. Many of us suffered from this kind of emotion that lead us to do shameful acts. This happened because we are not contented with what we have. Jealousy isn’t something you can just get rid of immediately. Moving beyond jealousy is a set of skills you need to learn with practice, and a trust that needs to be earned with time.

People are suffering from jealousy because they want something that they do not have. They want something that they think they need but they really do not. People are not contented with what they have. People want to get something easily. They might have experienced once in their lives rejection. They might have sometimes wished someone appreciates them. They really long for love and attention.

I think its human nature to be jealous to someone who was successful. The problem is that we let it jealousy consume us until we are doing things that is not right. I know many people are like this, maybe its because they are not successful, and they want to be successful also but they are not doing anything to be successful. Jealousy is present in basic human nature. If you examine the lives of prehistoric humans, it is clear. Most of the conflicts which had occurred tens of thousands of years ago, happened as a result of jealousy between individuals. The reasons for this jealousy can be varied. It can be jealousy over women, or jealousy over hunting grounds.

Because they want to be where you are now and aren’t satisfied with their results as they weren’t as successful as you. Therefore, they are jealous that you were able to make money and a ton a views while they couldn’t. They are calling you names to make themselves feel better about their failures when they should be asking you how you earned your views and money instead of calling you names.

I think they have "fear of loss". They should understand that whenever we are in race, only one is going to be on top. Should all others feel hurt? If others feel hurt, it is their problem, you have to take care of your mental health.

I think it depends on the jealousy you are suffering if it is from your love ones then maybe it is because you don't have enough trust in your partner,
Or maybe you don't trust the people around her/him,Or you know that there is something about her/his past that you are really worried about,
But if it is about the success of the other people then maybe it is because you think that you deserve that kind of success too.

Jealousy is a very strong emotion. We easily tell our kids when mistreated, to not worry, "he/she is just jealous". But it is actually a very dangerous feeling and can do a lot of damage.
Once one can get passed the feeling of inferiority and impulse to destroy, one can rather use this emotion to motivates oneself to deal with issues of discontent.
