jealousy is a disease that people are often suffering from. i have seen many people in my environment that was consumed by jealousy, they were depressed and lacked self-confidence that makes them insecure of other people. There are  reasons for a person to be jealous, infidelity of a husband or wife, favoritism of the parents to a sibling and many more. On the other hand, this leads to immoral doings like killings specifically.

Being jealous is insecurity,and that is why instead of working hard  it takes time looking for others mistake.I really  agree for those people who are jealous cannot reach to success nor pulling yourself down.

That's common in a crowded places such as tenements, row houses and the kind. People who doesn't have usually look at what their neighbors have then think that they could buy one too or have one, in the end it is more like a never ending competition between them and both would suffer from impulse buying and the budget is at stake.

I also often experience it, but it does not mean bad. We may envy successful people or hard-workers. In this case we think positively. If they are capable, why we are not. I just thought, I want to be just like them. While being jealous (negative thinking) to the success or the result of someone's hard work will only make us getting worse. I think jealousy rooted from envy.  They are not happy when other people are successful and have attained their dreams.  Some people will make stories on how that person becomes successful.  This is like crab mentality.  When one person reach the top, the other person will pull him down.

People suffering from jealousy because they insecure of things that they can't have. They are lack of appreciation of what they have. Most of the people are jealous of successful and hardworking person. It happens because they don't accept things that they don't have or they can't have. People focus things what they don't.
