Bitcoin as a mode of payment

Just wondering, who is accumulating Bitcoin via using it as a method of being paid, so instead of being paid in dollars or any other amount you ask client to pay you via Bitcoin especially merchants and freelancers. I think it is cool to be paid via Bitcoin because it appreciates so its like you can earn twice if you sell high.

To me, bitcoin is really a great form of payment. Bitcoin payments are extremely secure and fast. I like it when nobody manages my transactions, so I often exchange with bitcoin.

As we're an International company with 'virtual' existence all over the world, the wire transactions fees (& of course the delay in many cases) are really huge, that's why we're working to convert to Crypto (especially BTC)

I don’t think there are that many employers paying in Bitcoin at the moment, I think we will see an increase over the coming years tho

For my day job it's fiat all the way. Just started a company working with ICOs in which we're being paid in Bitcoin. But I wouldn't want to use my bitcoin to buy anything at the moment as I view it as an asset and I think that attitude feeds into it not being used for regular trading of commodities.

Bitcoin is a good mode of payment. Not only for freelancers but also many companies started to accept payment with bitcoin. For example one of my friend who is architect and interested in bitcoin has office and he accepts bitcoin payment. Because bitcoin is a good investment nowadays.

Yes Bitcoin payment is fast and has a minimal service charge but usually no additional charge.
Aside from that bitcoin transactions does not need to give full information and so much papers to be filled up and no need to present valid ids.

Unfortunately, not many employer or companies are paying or accepting bitcoin.  But, I can see an increase in paying bitcoin for freelance work which is good for the community.

As a freelancer, I am asking my clients specially whose from other country to pay me in bitcoins if possible and if it would not cause them any burden because transaction made in bitcoins is easier to handle than using other mode such as paypal and netteler that I found hussle when trying to transfer fund from those account to my bank account. Yet not all clients can do bitcoin transaction are some are not even knowledgeable what blockchain is and how it works.

Yes Bitcoin is really a good of payment but we cannot deny the fact that it is very risky. What if upon paying you there's a sudden price correction or a huge price down? You already incurred loss. You can also gain instant profit from it if there a huge price increase after you received the payment in Bitcoin. So you must be prepared to accept whatever the consequence if you will choose Bitcoin as a mode of payment.

It is good for international payments, otherwise the fees are not so nice. Also, volatility - someone wins, but the other side loses, payment process should not be a gamble.

Accepting Bitcoin as mode of payment would be cool. Before I was thinking that I will be accepting Bitcoin and even other alts on my business. But after experiencing lows and highs I might change it. Too much volatility especially on alts is scary.

We can say that having paid with bitcoin for a given services will be a good idea but as of this point, it is quite impossible. The reason is that, bitcoin used is not regularly practice as a mode of payment and bitcoin isn't fully accepted by other countries that it could be hard for the freelancers who are belong to that country to convert into fiat money. To help them easier, they preferred to pay it in USD currency.

This makes sense for me. It's a great idea to receive payment in the form of bitcoins because in that way, you get to directly invest your money. Regardless of the condition of the market, its value will increase sooner or later.

Bitcoins as a mode of payment is actually good but it should not be used to paid salaries .
BTC is already a mode of payment for some companies like Microsoft, Dell and sites like steam. Tge transaction speed would be needed to increase because the transaction fees they take and the time it takes to complete transmission of BTC is not proportional.

I don't think that this is a good idea , poeple would have to be dependent on the value of BTC to buy something and would feel restricted.

bitcoin is the best currency in the world I think personally, I really like it if there is a payment program using bitcoin, because we can all invest in it and can earn more profit from the salary of our work by way of payment using bitcoin.
