Just wondering, who is accumulating Bitcoin via using it as a method of being paid, so instead of being paid in dollars or any other amount you ask client to pay you via Bitcoin especially merchants and freelancers. I think it is cool to be paid via Bitcoin because it appreciates so its like you can earn twice if you sell high.

Yes, that would be a great idea to use bitcoin as a payment for freelancers instead of paying fiat.
Many people now appreciate bitcoin and even if the value of a payment of fiat is the same value of the bitcoin as payment, still people choose bitcoin because they think that their bitcoin has a great potential to increase in value with time.

Bitcoin as a mode of payment will provide you bitcoin whose value can increase over the time but also decrease at any instance. So, for merchants and freelancers it could prove to be hard task as they need to get money and then work further if somehow bitcoin shows a dip in the market then, merchants and freelancers would face a great loss. Bitcoin should be used as payment method for short term work so that one should is not get much affected by the volatility factor.

Even before bitcoin ia being acknowledged in our country, it has been use as a form of payment for goods and services. Me as an investor, I sometimes got tempted to spend my stored coins. Tempting offers like rebated prepaid loads for electricity, internet and telcom. The also ease the way of paying public and private institutions. Next in line is bitcoin as a form of payment for online shopping. This time, its really need to keep in mind that its wiser to hold than to spend

Yes, you can set Bitcoin as a choice of payment tools in your stores. But you can't force clients to pay by Bitcoin. Bitcoin value is too high now. There are not many people willing using it to payment.

Yes Bitcoin is really a good of payment but we cannot deny the fact that it is very risky. What if upon paying you there's a sudden price correction or a huge price down? You already incurred loss. You can also gain instant profit from it if there a huge price increase after you received the payment in Bitcoin. So you must be prepared to accept whatever the consequence if you will choose Bitcoin as a mode of payment.

Bitcoin was an outcome-based payment method, so it would be more appropriate for Bitcoin to be used as a payment method, as you said, sudden price change makes shopping difficult and the price will be balanced over time.

Yes because Bitcoin is created for a purpose as a worldwide payment network but as time passed by, people see Bitcoin as a form of an investment not only as a payment system most especially these days. This new kind of money dominated the market as it is getting mature. Here in my country the use of Bitcoin is increasing due to services offered by an exchange that accepts bill payments especially utility bills, government bills, insurances, health, broadband, home credit, cable channel provider, telecom and tuition fees. They also offered services like prepaid load and other merchants that sell goods in exchange of Bitcoin so I think people will take an advantage on these services as soon as they discover Bitcoin.

I tried buying in game cash in garena using bitcoins via a third party online app which converts btc to currency and vice versa which I was able to use my bitcoins without the need to convert it to cash.

This is true. Most holders would rather HODL. 10% rises in a single day is a fairly common occurrence. Why spend money that could be worth 10% higher or even more tomorrow?

I think the period we are currently in for Bitcoin doesn't lend well to it being used as a day to day currency, unless you choose to dump it immediately, or most of it if you want to hold some as an investment. A few years ago when the price was low the volatility wasn't as bad so you could easily afford to accept BTC payments and cash them in once a week or whatever suited your business needs. Right now however if the price were to fall the same way it has risen, that would bankrupt many small businesses overnight if they held onto the coins.

In the future when BTC is either more adopted in the day to day world and/or reaches a certain level of stability it would make a great day to day currency.

As we're an International company with 'virtual' existence all over the world, the wire transactions fees (& of course the delay in many cases) are really huge, that's why we're working to convert to Crypto (especially BTC)

Good for you if your company would be able to push through paying you crypto instead of fiat. There are so many jobs outsource in other countries and cryptocurrency is a big help if in case their employees would have problems with their banks regarding their salaries. At least in cryptocurrencies, payment would be timely and there would be no delays since there are no middlemen to the transaction. I don't know any company yet that pay cryptocurrency to their employees but maybe sooner or later some will consider it as it would be more simple to process than fiat do and the fees would be lesser too.

bitcoin actually could become whatever you want , when you need bitcoin for future investment then it could work , when you want a low fee transaction then you could use bitcoin as a payment processor . but considering the philosophy of bitcoin itself created as a form of peer to peer electronic system i would always support that one intead any other purposes.

if the government allowed it tot their country then its good. but if the bitcoin is used for mode of payment in like the freelancers and merchants its on the government also if they allowed it so before that happen that the bitcoin is mode of payment is we need the cooperation of the government and other country to do the bitcoin become legal in their country so that the bitcoin do anything what it want and i think its less time if the bitcoin has a mode of payment because sometimes the dollars will be difficult in the online shopping
