don't you think facebook will claim the brand for this project? it does look like they already own the word face on the internet and mind you they are very much richer now, facebook can already influence the world. the team could lose the domain in this case. has anyone mentioned this in the thread?
When creating the name for our decentralized social network we consulted our legal team and made sure no copyright will be infringed. However if the problem arises, we have backup plans, changing the name and logo in such a way that we wont lose our identity.

Since Facebook is basically the leading social network at the moment, yes, we're inspired by it, but that doesn't mean that we're exactly like Facebook, if anything, we're far different from Facebook in many ways. Yes, the logo is inspired from Facebook's logo, but from what we've heard, we should be fine. Though we're not fully sure yet, and the logo is bound to change at any time to something more original (and better designed, as well), if any problems do appear (which we doubt, but still, we took precautions).
