That is a worse idea to have. The investors that wanted to make money through Bitcoin could be cashing out at a loss. ICO's will cause them to have less money than they started with.

Yes there are some altcoins worth it to buy and it is still best to buy and invest. Buy alts worth for your attention and wait it to rise the price. If you plan to hold that choose altcoin has a future still you will earn profit.

But this is trading, have a lot of bright and dark sides inside. you need to have a lot of luck and knowledge sometimes instinct to feel what may happen soon/next to your picked coins. The fact that segwit2x is still canceled, altcoin prices will still continue to rise. If you wan't something safer i'd actually recommend Ethereum. Check out the charts, its on the rise and is due for a breakout soon. Don't give up and i hope you get to invest your money in good projects.

I think there are potential alternate coins out there that is ready to skyrocket anytime next year. There are apparently more than 10 alt coins that has a double digit value and i think one or a couple of them might have a market value that will be off the charts next year.
