With so many daily ICOs launching, some people might be confused as to where they should invest.
What would make you invest in today's running ICOs?
Is it the Whitepaper? Is it the Website design? Is it the Project Team? Is it the Product?
Well, actually everything from the list, however, going through step wise: 1. Product (How effective could it get in real time/real life implementation) 2. Project Team (Their experience, their influence, also the company advisory board, does it have names like Vitalik Buterin, elon musk, da hongfei) 3. Whitepaper (To understand the business, development, roll out process and also if it is 100% grammatically perfect) 4. Website Design - It actually does not matter a lot to me. Adding to these, I also look forward to the total supply of tokens and predictable exchanges listings. Cheers!!

The interesting project proposal in ico is very important to me (including whitepaper and roadmap), after that, dev activity and even an attractive and responsive campaign manager will also get plus points. The most important factors are the people behind the project and how seriously their business grows in finding business partners. If ico Project only impresses prototypes from scratch and is only done by 1-3 people without advisor. then it will not be too interesting.

A single thing is not enough to make me invest in an ico, besides all the things you are saying I will add that the idea needs to make sense, the road map needs to be realistic, the developers need to answer questions in the ANN thread and be assertive about their explanations, an escrow is also necessary so we know they are not going to run away with the money they raised and it is also necessary to have a good reputation in the forum already as people that know what they are doing.

The one who caught my eye is Propthereum.io. They are an upcoming asset backed coin. If you are interested in investing in ICOs, i suggest you check them out. They are expecting a 1566% coin appreciation in a short period of time. Definitely worth checking! That wasn't my question, was it? this cracked me. To answer your question; I have been checking out ICOs but never invested in any yet. One thing is for sure there is a lot of marketing spent on it. so I guess the whitepaper and discussion channel with team is the decision factor for my next time investing. Even the youtube review are biased; i mean what do you expect from a paid review? so you do your own digging and research. in short I will choose the team first along with the whitepaper

It's all of those actually. All these factors play a big role in a successful ICO. The Whitepaper must be clear, must have a vision and the mission must be achievable. The Website must look good and be easy to understand. The Team must be a group of members that have a good profile and with experience. The Project must be real and work in the real world for the benefit of the community.

I would agree with most in this thread that all of these are important. If 1 of these points are bad, then your ICO will probably not work. I believe that the most important factor here would be the Team. Reason being is, the Team behind the project will be there for supporting the community in any way they can, they will be there to change or adapt the ICO if it needs any, and they will need to maintain it daily.

i think we can choose an ico from the whitepaper, project team and product and i think the website design is not necessary but sometimes its important to see how serious the dev and the teams. we need to learn with details about their project so we can know where the dev and the teams wants from the project and what they want to do with the project. i think the whitepaper is the most important for the investor because from whitepaper, we can know the roadmap or the plan from the dev and if its really good then we can decide to invest our money to the project.

Everything starts with the human. Therefore, You should research carefully about the team. If they have good degree and experience. You can execute the project successfully.

It's true that all those questions are important to having a successful ICO. Whitepaper and the Roadmap must be able to work and check out. Websites alone must be clear and user friendly, the visitor must be able to understand what is going on and not get lost in the site. The project team definitely is important as they will be the base of operations and provide support to anyone who needs it. If any one of these fails, then you have a failed ICO.

I look at it all. I believe the success of an ICO is determined before the ICO launches. All these factors affect the investors. You want to find an ICO which fit your criteria in all these fields. Recently I have been looking for an upcoming ICO to invest in and I looked at all of this before deciding which one would be a great investment, after checking out all these things I finally settled on Propthereum.io because I feel like they would be the best investment both short term and long term.

Hello. I would add no presale bonus or a small presale bonus. Apart from that the whitepaper, roadmap, team. Do your own research as good as you can. Sometimes it is just bad timing, it did request network and it would have been cheaper to buy after the ico.
Cheers

First thing first is to wait for a while before investing because waiting will mean a lot of people wpuld have been expressing their views about the project while some will be for the project, some other people will be against the project and the stress of searching for the information I needed for decision making will be taken off my shoulder after I must have analysed the information I must have gotten as a result of waiting. The next thing is to look at the future prospect of the project with that, I am not considering the pump that will happen immediately after the ICO but long term prospect.

Is it the Whitepaper? Is it the Website design? Is it the Project Team? Is it the Product?
It's really all of the above, a good ICO shouldn't only have one of these qualities but all of them, after all you're putting your hard earned cash in play and you want to be sure it's in good hands. Try to be picky and find a team that has many positive things, instead of only one. For example, if a project has a good whitepaper (good product/service idea) but doesn't have a good team, then the idea is useless, because the team will not be able to implement it. If the team in the other hand is experienced but you believe the product and service doesn't offer any value to the market, then again it's irrelevant if the team is good because the idea won't have any demand from the market (since it doesn't offer any value to start with). Try to tick all the boxes when evaluating a new project or team, the more of the attributes they have the more likely the project will succeed and the more likely you'll have a descent return.

Yes absolutely, doing a lot of research or taking a close look about the whitepaper, website design, project team and the product makes us feel comfortable in investing in ICO projects. Failed to meet these standards will be automatically ignored by most investors to avoid future problems. Though there are some projects that does not meet these qualifications trying to prove that they are legit ones and had failed due to lack of support from the community. I am actually in an ongoing ICO the Spectre.ai and yeah I like the team's project and it's idea. I know that this project will soon be successful because they have all what I am looking for in a project.

I look at all of the four points you talk about, very thoroughly. Too many scams out there, you have to be careful and study every aspect of a project before actually investing in it.

It's not woth investing because project are over-financed and a lot of people invest just to insta sell and have a good ROI. Company know that and their turn it at their advantage.

Very well defined point there, i couldn't agree more with you. The people behind the project are the most important aspect to be considered.
