Bruno, I'm going to need some of your Google Fu skills. I need to know the license # or need a copy of the public record for BFL's business license. I need the jurisdiction and business structure (LLC, corporation, individual sole proprietorship, etc.). I also need to know if they rent their business space and the landlord information if you can get it. Do you know if they ever applied for an FCC/ULS license and if they were given a temporary right to distribute product before licensure.
If I come up with more questions later I'll post them here. Thanks in advance.
Working backwards, the UL information (or lack thereof) may not be available. Would need help on that aspect.
The FCC is readily available for all to see, and as of yesterday--NADA (as any BFL assembler to translate).
You can Google: Wyoming sos; Kansas sos; Missouri sos (all without quotes). You'll easily find their business when you search for
BF Labs.
The landlord for their El Monte facility is located in the same building.
No permits were pulled during the extensive retro, thus not allowing the local municipality to know if their facility is a safe environment to conduct business in.
We have no way of knowing if the assemblers are legally allowed to work in the US or if they have been properly vetted by some temp service. They may have been tricked into working there, lured by the word jalapeño.
The miners BFL are building also would need CE certification prior to being shipped to Europe or possibly elsewhere.
