It is still more convenient to use digital coins for your transactions, the people who say just because crypto is money on the internet or uses internet to transact did not fully aware and understand the capability and anonymity of the transaction, the amount and the transfers is transparent but the owner is 99% anonymous, if they just hold their own dollar that is a guarantee anonymous, just by holding but the transaction and transfers are the common use of fiat or crypto.

It didn't surprise me. We all know that in order to spend bitcoins, we need to exchange them for Fiat. It turns out that he supports bitcoin official currency. If we are talking about anonymity of crypto currency, it exists. It is not that all crypto currencies are anonymous but there are some which is truly anonymous. You can just search that anonymous crypto currencies online to know them. And in terms of "believing"? I still believe in fiat, but that doesn't mean that I don't trust cryptos, I just know that it will create it's own place in the future.

Its definitely difficult to compare the two because bitcoin is ahead of its time, but probably it will soon have a part to play in the future when digital currencies will be adopted by big cooperations for everyday use and when the business environment will not be hostile towards this technology but maybe people meant to say fiat is the mostly used currency and not being better than cryptos.

No it does not work like that when you say something is anonymous. The anonymous nature comes in when you are making transaction from peer to peer and the names and personal info of both the parties is not known to you. If your friend is going to spend the money in real world then people can see him, they can capture his face, they can know his name in next minute. With the bitcoin everything is relayed by the bitcoin address which is not linked to your name, identity and nothing. You can just send any kind of money through it. Thats what it is all about. Hope your doubt clears up here with the bitcoin anonymous nature.

Why did you think so? Fiat money is more convenient right now only because cryptocurrency isn't widely accepted yet in offline/conventional businesses. If crpyto is already widely accepted it is way more convenient to use crypto as payment rather than fiat. Besides, crypto is still unregulated and even banned as a payment system in some countries. Perhaps that reason contributes to how people think of crpyto.

For comparison, look at online businesses such as domain and hosting provider, gaming hub like Steam, and any other online businesses that you can think of. It is way more convenient to use Bitcoin and other crypto to pay for those services, especially if their service isn't a local one.

Bitcoin get Introduced in 2009. In the last 8 years i personally never felt the need of any cryptocurrency. Same is the case of my countrymen. We have fiat currencies, bank cheques,we use debit credit cards, we use Paytm. We do use digital wallets like Airtel Money, Citi Master Pass, Freecharge, ICICIpocket, Jiomoney, State bank buddy etc. So why to go for bitcoin currency. All these tools have legal status in my country. They are also backed by Government as well as by the central bank of our country. Bitcoins legal status is not fixed in many countries. Some countries which earlier allowed bitcoin are now banning its operations. So why to use such currency.

People think that but being right or wrong is not subject to the amount of people believe in that information bitcoin is better than fiat and the fact that 99% of the population think the opposite only tells me that we have a lot of chances to make a lot of money when all of these people slowly begin to wake up to the reality and finally see bitcoin for what it is, a better alternative to fiat.

Well he was correct about the anonymity. There's a reason why many people still use fiat for illegal stuff.

As for the value though... well, we can't really trust the bankers to have our best interests in their minds, right?

We cannot help but accept the fact that since adaptability of bitcoin in most country are not yet established people will still believe that fiat is better than bitcoin especially if they don't have any knowledge about bitcoin. The trust of most people with regards to crypto currencies can only be earned if the government will start legalizing bitcoin and make it as a part of their economies in such way only people will have the chance to know much better and learn about bitcoin

Yes, it is a fact that we don't have majority with us but to be honest, there is nothing surprising in it because it is the similar case like the invention of the internet. There were the people (almost most of them who came to know about it) never believed in that innovation and thought that it will be limited for sending faxes and what not and there is no further scope for it. However, over the time we saw the revolution in the world based on the internet and majority of the people are loving (actually addicted) to this innovation. I am sure, within next decade Bitcoin/Blockchain technology will emerge in a similar way.

yes indeed fiat are still way more convenient because bitcoin has a little process before you can buy things. But for me it is just like fiat we can stock it whenever we want to. For example bank for fiat then online wallet for bitcoin and also fiat can change to bitcoin and bitcoin can change to fait. That two currency has a the same standing ithink cause they all have the same process to use. But the difference is that bitcoin cant buy anything on the store without covernthing it into fiat.  Thats why the most convenient for the others is fait. And also im agree that they are not yet familiar on this type of currency.  Thats why they choose fiate a convenient currency.

So what's wrong in it. It is true, in all of the world if 99% people prefer to fiat then they do it right. Fiat is our first currency and crypto currency we are using it just for increasing our fiat money. I am also one of them who believe on fiat currency, because fiat is our own currency and crypto is just for our investment or trading and we could do it only on online world.   

Seconded. People will really normally choose fiat than on bitcoin if they would able to hear about it. They would really always choose on the thing that have been used for how many centuries and decades have passed. Knowing that theres no other thing that we do use to buy goods or trade but just using our own local fiat this is why people will always trust this thing no matter what and bitcoin would really just remain as an alternative.

unfortunately it is true people still think fiat is still better than cryptocurrencies the reason is they haven't research or heard the bitcoin or they have heard about it but they didn't have an interest to learn more about it and some don't care about it but for us who were knowledgeable about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, knew that, bitcoin had some flaws and some us here think that fiat is still more convenient than bitcoin despite of price inflation and i agree with them cryptocurrencies should be together with fiat.

It is true and will remaining  always. BTC came some years ago and real physical money exists form long back.  Once the country was formed they had their respective currencies which is legitimate and accepted worldwide and thus it is obviously for anybody to feel the same.

yes if we compare from all populations people in the world then bitcoin users probably only 1% from that and it's not an easy task to change people habit from the centuries because fiat or physical money already use as transactions tools so people will more likely to trust fiat than digital money although with bitcoin a lot of benefit will we have from using it but that will not automatically people will following us and being the bitcoiners

maybe they do not know digital money (crypto) so their assumptions are not real so they will not believe me, I have a short story I invite my friend to bitcoin trading at that time maybe bitcoin price of 2.000 USD but he do not believe it, he just say this scam, and I sell the price of 1 bitcoin 7.000 USD and I share the story to my friend who was 2,000 $ to 7,000 $ and the last word he may your money in the magic

I have a doubt on your stats because i don't think so 99% of people will agree with this. Anonymous is not the only characteristic that make us to use cryptos there are variety of other advantages too like decentralization. However I agree with the fact that fiat is convenient because still today the majority of retailers, shops and other service providers don't accept bitcoin or other cryptos as payment method, this need a long time to make it more convenient so that we can use it anywhere and everywhere.

Everyone have their point of view! And yes, he might be right when he tells that having some euros and pounds, but if you have a computer not attached to the network, and you sign your transactions, you might also be very much anonymous in my opinion. Now many dont know about BTC, and BTC has it's flaws, so it has time to build a more reputable platform and technology.

Unfortunately, some people have blind faith on what currency they're using up to now and don't see that they're getting screwed by their own government and own banks. Bitcoin is still regarded as the 'currency of illegal transactions' since that is what the media highlights and that's what people believe when in fact fiat is being used in fraud and shady transactions more often. Some people can't really accept revoluion/change, and they'd try to deny the facts as hard as they can just to not take up the facts
