$10k By March 2018

I don't think bitcoin will be $10,000 within 2017 year. We're about to complete this year, maybe nex year we can see $15,000 for bitcoin price.

But, everyday Bitcoin is gaining more active users and has already touched 8k USD yesterday, and moving at the current speed one can easily expect price reaching above 10k USD by the end of year. There is no stopping at this value now; Bitcoin has caught everyone's attention which is making its price reaching new limits. Also, BCH is trying to drive the users towards it but that cannot stop the rise of Bitcoin in the long terms as already BCH has started to dump and cash is flowing again into Bitcoin.

As at the time of this post it has break another height record of  $8,057.28 this shows that Bitcoin market value at $10,000 may not far from here any longer. If you have money in the bank yielding nothing it is better to convert some of the Bitcoin before is too late.

Yes. There was a resistance at 8000 dollar which was breaked very fast. 10000 dollar can be the next target before the next correction. Seems that the price can reach 10000 dollar very soon.

If you'd created this thread 3 months ago (and I'm sure there's been one that's similar), I would have said no way.  Now we just crossed over into $8000 territory, and I'm thinking it's very possible--and we might not even have to wait until March!

We had a pretty steep correction last week, and bitcoin is now continuing to rise.  That's about what I predicted, and a lot of others have as well.  It's crazy, crazy, crazy.  I'm constantly kicking myself for selling all the bitcoin I've owned.  It could have accumulated to a significant amount....

That might even happen. BTC is showing some exceptional potential in this year, no only was is able to recover from the low $6000 but it has already reached its new ATH of $8k, I wouldn't be surprised is it reaches $10k by end of the year.

By March means we've got good time of around five months. In five months time surely a large scale adoption will take place as well it'll surely reach $10000, because based on the ongoing price growth its calculated to reach $10000 by the ongoing year end. If it doesn't take place by this time, might happen by the March of upcoming year.

I remember before the beginning of this year when we were hoping for something great to happen to bitcoin and our optimism was not even up to this extent, as most people would really be happy to see bitcoin get to $4000 at the end of the year, whereas some slammed the possibility of even getting it up to $10000 by the end of the year.

Fortunately, we ended up experiencing more than we have bargained for and from what I can see, March is still a very long time as there is every possibility that we hit $10000 even before then.

We are now in November with bitcoins already reaching $ 8000 now, to March there are still 4 months away, very possibility bitcoins can reach $ 10,000. The concern is if the issue segwit2x re-emerged and successfully implemented, so the price will jump away from the forecast.

I think you are right. As of now, we already have $8k which is really possible that bitcoin price will reach for up to $10k next year maybe by the month of February. I think it is possible.

It is very possible because we still have a long time to go to march 2018. Bitcoin prices will still continue to rise and will get a positive sentiment. Hopefully the current price movement can affect the price of bitcoin much better. Bitcoin prices are currently in the range 7500USD, an increase of about 30 percent from current prices up to 5 months ahead is not impossible.

10 000$ by March seems really feasible for me, because their is a rocket factor that stands in three letters : CME. This future could really bring a new exposure to Bitcoin and push it forward a lot in term of mainstreamness and price.

Exactly, the first quarter would be a good time to hit $10K but I seriously doubt that it can be done this year. Except for the CME rumors which have been going for some time and probably why bitcoin price kicks in, I don't see any speculative news that will push the price to go to $10K in December. But we are going to be OK, as long as we are in the positive mode and no attacks or bashed is on our way. The best thing to do is to just hold on our bitcoin because it will close this year at a positive note, then 2018 will be another big year for all of us.

4 months for Bitcoin to make a move of 25% is so much time! In the times that lots of obstacles stood in the way, Bitcoin was well able to take the roof off and now that the way is apparently without hitches, we're simply in for a nice cruise! I see this time as the last chance for early adopters to gather as much Bitcoin as possible before the money bags, who have been looking on voraciously are let in.

Maybe it will not take so much time because price is changing up or down very fast and long time periods are no longer needed. The question is in what direction will market move and how many forks will be "invented" ,meanwhile that could also influence the price. So 10000$ might happen before but also long after March, it can't be predicted for sure. But I think that 2018 will be another great year for Bitcoin.

Now the fees are also falling back, which is a great news.

If Bitfinex issue can get sort out in peace, it can also help reducing the risks.

CME product on line in December should also help but I think it's already reflected in price.

And future trading at 10k for end of 2018, this also gives an indication.

Bitcoin has been performing very well lately and we have been enjoying the unending pump in pricing but getting to $10,000 before March next year is what many of us here cannot really predict. The demand for bitcoin is increasing daily and we actually hope thing get better in days come. I expect governments to stop attacking bitcoin with the mind of bringing it price down.

I think I also agreed with the thread starter that it will be March 2018 where we could see the 10k price.
But now, it really changed my prediction.
A lot happened and it can be seen in the fluctuatioms that happened.
I thought it will stay until just 6k because it is getting hard to break that number. Now it became different.
It just proves that bitcoin is really unpredictable.

Now the fees are also falling back, which is a great news.

I did noticed the fees were decreased too and this is totally making bitcoin deserves to be known again for cheaper transactions.

$10,000 by March 2018 is possible and there will be more of it by that year since a lot of mainstream medias keep on endorsing bitcoin for free and this December is exiting.

Waiting for the CME effect, possible that we will be reaching $9,000.

I think the demand is getting higher everyday, small retailers, merchants, supermarkets and peoples are slowly getting the hang of using BTC. And we are not there yet, sad for those who don't have BTC these past year

I’d say there’s a pretty good chance that one bitcoin will be worth $10,000 by March 2018. If you look at what the price was even 12 months ago then a pump to 10k & above doesn’t seem too much of a jump.

Yes this is correct, if we're talking about historical data of the price of BTC it is one of the best investment in the world, but like the on the Taylor's song line "Is is gonna be forever, or its gonna go down in flames", there are strong arguments on what will be the future of crypto, bitcoin is almost a 9 years old technology and we have so much more to improved. Again even if they are forking it its price is still unstoppable. MAybe because it is the original crypto, maybe because it is the best or maybe because of its security. Maybe, maybe not.

Bitcoin has a tremendous community, with a lot of support merchant, but there are some individuals who hold a large amount of money to manipulate the market. So the factor of increase or decrease is in their hands

No speculators will not be able to destabilize the market if all of the owners of bitcoins will remain calm while they will manipulate the market. I am sure that the current price of bitcoin is only a preparation for the pump. Until the end of November the price will return to its usual boundaries. BCH will never be a competitor for BTC.

And it will never will, it's just a decoy to make people dump their BTC and then the whales will get more BTC. A scheme planned to accumulate more BTC, and I'm wondering when will the market learn their lesson.
By the way its price is way way too expensive because it is closing up to 10k dollars.
Well other enthusiast is not really wrong about BTC, it might reach 500k dollars in 3 years time if we are going to follow the grow of prices, it is gaining more than 1000 percent in just a year.

I am very confident about it that bitcoin will hit 10k around March, 2018. It is easy to predict because the price of bitcoin already hit 8k. Bitcoin has a great opportunity to reach 10k. The user of it, sectors, demand are also increasing day by day. So i think Bitcoin will reach 10k before March, 2018 definitely.
