Gambling could not be counted as investing as it is "gambling" the risk involve with it is different from investments, you are actually betting on something hoping for your money to double while in investing there is no sure percentage involve or a 49.5% risk for you to double your money. I wouldn't recommend someone trying to increase their money with gambling as you might lose it all in one bet.

The buy and hold strategy is the best approach if you are not an experienced trader.

op is talking about investing and doesnt want to hear any suggestion or other ways to earn a bitcoin. i believe op wants know the ways on how to properly invest his money in bitcoins and all i can say is you  need to follow some basic strategy like buy low sell high in order to achieve the best results. but overall investing or any other forms of money doubler like gambling , trading , mining ,etc are always had a risk because they cannot always assure that you can earn a profit on them due to the fact that cryptocurrency are highly volatile when compared to other forms of invest option like forex or gold .
