Will religion save you?

In my personal opinion no religion can save us, it is our faith. We might have different religions but the teachings are the same, they are guiding us to be righteous person in the eyes of our creator.

Regardless of religion, the idea is that you need faith. Something to sign on that gives to you a chance to change yourself and takes you away from the abism.

No, no matter what religion there is, it will not save you. But it is by your relationship with the Lord, our Creator, King of kings and Lord of lords, comes with a gift of eternal life with Him on Heaven. Not by your good deeds but by the faith you have in Him and the acceptance that He is your one and only Savior will you be saved.

To me religion only provide the ethical code needed to function in the society . But to be save, I believe in the sayings of Jesus Christ and my hope and faith is in the resurrection in order for me to be save.

This always comes into my mind whenever 2 or 3 religions are quarelling about whos gonna be save. Also, Other religion destroying other religion in anyway they can like saying something bad in that religion, discouraging people not to join in that religion or go out in that religion, etc.

What can u say about this? Anyway in Christian world we all believe in one savior, Jesus Christ. So why are we fighting amongs ourselves which is which that will be saved? All I can say is Religion can't save you, HE WILL!

It doesnt mean that if you belong to a certain religion that you will be saved. Faith will. Live a life according to the teachings of your religion.

Religion is man's way of reaching God. Salvation is God's way of reaching man. Its your relationship with God that matters. Not religion.

True... God will save you and by extension His church. God uses us as tool for His plan. His church is His body, us His tools. In faith, belief and hope you go through life knowing He is guiding you. Now with the question of 2 religions fighting each other, when you shove your belief down someone's throat then extremism happens and it is not faraway from terrorism

Religion will make you weak and put your mind under control, so you will have to pray and ask for the rest of your life, instead of doing something for yourself.

The answer is definitely no, because I'm saved. We're all saved by his grace and through faith. No religion can save us for He save us already. The good deeds that we do is only the fruit of His salvation. We go to church not only to ask for salvation but to work our relationship with Him.
