Based on user feedback, we expect to release a stable version for both currency by the end of november.

We are meanwhile moving on and starting the upgrade of both wallet to the latest bitcoin core.

I know this is a little while since the last reply. I've been with this community since 2015 and it's actually what got me into crypto altogether. The team has experienced a bit of a setback as far as development and organization goes. However, we're (I say that because I'm assisting along with other team members) working to get the site back online this week and then working to get back to where the project was at. From there look to continue forward. So don't stop mining or staking your Verium or Vericoin, and if you did fire them wallets back up. Check in on Slack, and hopefully by end of the week more updates will be coming out.

It's been a while, and I'm not sure who still uses bitcointalk, but we released a maintenance release of Verium about a month ago, v1.3.5.2. It's not a mandatory upgrade, but it added testnet and in-wallet bootstrapping for Windows/Linux/macOS. And the macOS app Qt has been cleaned up and works "almost" perfectly. OH and Verium is listed on Komodo DEX now and Vericoin will follow shortly after.
