That's cool man, give it a go. Let us know if we can help.

FYI, from your list we have already contacted:
Binance, Bittrex, Yobit, Cryptopia

+ some others.
Great. I've just created and paid Yobit Premium "Add coin" request. If everything goes ok BBP should be listed there in 4-7 days. Yobit is not a perfect exchange but it is well established with decent volume (40x c-cex volume) and it (more or less) works 365 days a year. I've put contact [at] biblepay.org as a contact mail so BBP devs should cooperate with yobit if needed.
Awesome, thanks for following that up.
Did you put Rob's email address?

Thanks!

A quick question.

Is there any problem on pool.biblepay.org?

It shows the same PCs as active and as missing.

In conf file I have
pool=http://pool.biblepay.org

Is it OK or it should be https?

Thanks
Are your PCs in the leaderboard? If so, just check back a couple of minutes later, it sounds like a little bug. I only use https:// URLs, they have worked flawlessly for months. Not sure about the http version, I think for that it was (at some point) necessary to add poolport=80. Just use the secure connection. Wink

btw: How slow is WCG with the balance refresh? It sometimes takes 10-15 hours to show the actual credits. I thought this was an IBM project. Seems like they dedicated only their best servers for that task. Cheesy

Continuing the exchange-related news (although not SO directly impactful to us), did you guys see the GDAX announcement? Getting rebranded as Coinbase Pro (ok), but also adding the Paradex platform, so pretty much every ERC20 token is going to be available for trading as soon as they roll the platform out. That should shake up the game somewhat.

contact@biblepay.org is the address I gave them. But I believe yobit will not need it as a BBP compilation process is pretty straightforward.

No, I mean on their own web page under "my contribution" and "device statistics". Especially when you are just starting out on different machines and you want to check how they behave it's practically impossible to do so because the points are updated like once per day.  Angry

On another note: @Lichtsucher: I think the PODC stats on Biblepay Central are stuck, they still show the estimated payments for 48175. Wink

I think your settings are right. official pool was working for me until yesterday (24 hours ago). It still works because I'm getting transactions, but it seems to be frozen in terms of hashes per second regardless of what your actual hashrate is. If you've been a steady miner, it shouldn't affect you, but if you happen to add more computers to mine then not so good news for you.

And if not these, let's get at least on Cryptopia or even Yobit woud be 100x better than c-cex.

Really? YoBit.net has a very bad reputation for not updating their wallet. I know of several altcoins where the wallet was not updated to newer versions. People's coins were stuck on old fork (ArtByte) and no response to update the wallet. PoS coins where the exchange is staking because of bad .conf (BioBar) ... I just had a to laugh at your assessment that c-cex is 100x worse than YoBit. I'd never go business with YoBit... c-cex had some quirks when I bought BBP and transferred BTC in, but I was able to withdraw BBP out to my wallet.

With all the updates that BiblePay wallet is incurring, you're just one version away from losing all your BBP coins on the exchange.

You are right, it seems to be stuck. This information is downloaded from the main pool.

@Rob: Looks like the "api_superblock" doesn't contain the infos for the next block. Could you take a look at it? Smiley

You people are funny sometimes. Every exchange has some unhappy users and therefore some bad reputation. Those other alts, you don't know all the details, neither do I. Anyway, we can either dream about Binance without any result or do something to get BBP further. Yobit was a good starting place for many successful crypto project in the past. Yobit has 3 major advantages to c-cex: it's widely known and used by crypto people (regardless if they like it or not), it's operating and up 365 days per year (not ~200 half-time per year like c-cex) and it has 40x higher volume than c-cex. This being said should make everyone involved in BBP pretty happy. If you can do something more for BBP, great. I invested MY BTC to get BBP at Yobit (we are not there yet) and I don't expect your gratitude but at least you should try to do something better for BBP or stay silent. Wallet maintenance at Yobit.... we shall see. But if BBP team cooperates and provides working updates, I can see no reason why they should undermine reputation of their exchange not applying the updates (especially when update is so easy like pull & make). No exchange wants bad reputation especially from projects focused on charitable work. Also no one is forced to trade BBP at Yobit, it's entirely your choice, your responsibility & your risk. Of course everything can go wrong, but that's ok, because we believe in God and NOT in those things.

great idea slovakia, get BBP on Kucoin!!!  Wink

But now we need some fast replacement because c-cex is "closing" in 7 days for 3 months.

It's obvious c-cex cannot be main exchange for BBP for the future.

Thank you very much for your engagement and the BTC, smbbm! I believe it's the right move, especially because of the C-CEX news.

I think you should be paid back! 0.1 BTC (~250k BBP) is within the upcoming budget, so I suggest you make a proposal for the YoBit listing.

Thanks for moving ahead with YoBit, BBP will benefit from the exposure of being traded on a higher-volume exchange.

I think, that higher-volume exchange is needed, but it looks that we need trustful exchange. Good example is QIEX. It looks that QIEX has a lot higher volume as c-cex, but there are almost no bids nor asks. Maybe Yobit (thanks to smbbm) is different case like Qiex, but noone knowns.

I think that it would be nice to have somewhere (maybe biblepay-central.org) info like this:
Generated coins: 655 423 576
Coins locked in MN: 337 900 218 (218 MN - enabled or not)
Staked coins: 171 600 000 (approx)
Tradeable coins: 145 923 358 (it is less than 1/4 of generated coins)
Maybe this would be interresting info for buyers (investors)

My next thought was about no "asks" at QIEX. It looks that with exchanges we need good PR too. Are there any plans for PR?
How it is possible that many coins (tokens) without any "meaningful" value has so much higher 24h traded volume? It is only because ICO, airdrop?
What about make some small airdrop from PR budget? We've talked about paperwallet giveaway here, but it's hard to say what will be more helpful for Biblepay. Paperwallet giveaway in one city (or few cities) or "worldwide" virtual (BTT-based) airdrop. Just to make some noise about Biblepay.
