If you see a little child you can see the spark in their eyes. As we grow we keep loosing that spark. Life gets harder and keeps sucking the motivation out of us. I think motivation is the most precious thing in life and we loose it so easily without even being fully aware of it. As I grew up the most difficult thing I've faced is to keep myself motivated. The dreams we dream don't just come true. Our reality is totally different from our dreams.

Sometimes truth really hurts. When we were children we were full of dreams, a lot of plans. But as you said by growing up it’s like you were loosing it all. But I think it depends too to the ambiance where we grow up. It depends on the adults that grows us up. Life might give us tough times, even to the point where you just want to leave everything and go somewhere far away. But miracles happen. Especially for those people who don’t give up. Sometimes we lost our desire to that thing. But please, don’t lose your goal.

That's true. We loose it especially if this motivation concerns our dreams. People become more down-to-earth. You start to think about real problems like what are you gonna eat tomorrow etc.

1. Re-discover the meaning of your work
You may lose motivation because you have lost the meaning of your work first.
2. Make your work comfortable
You can make your work your own. Make your work according to your comfort suits to the extent that it does not violate the rules of where you work.
3. Focus on positive things
Try to find the added values of your work. Think about your profits in doing your job. Do not think about negative things and possibly fail or risk losing.

I know some adult people who are still children inside. That's beautiful. I wish I could be the same in their years.

Having motivation in life to make our dreams come true. If our dreams didnt came true it doesnt mean we are not motivated maybe we expect much or we expect high. Atleast you do your best to achieve your goals.

I hear you, but life is also suffering and there is nothing wrong with that Smiley. The pursuit of happiness is the most terrible thing there is, because it is really unrealistic.
You should seek something that gives you purpose in life and enjoy the moments that you experience happiness. Various media want us to believe the pusuit of happiness is your life goal. That's complete bullshit man.
I think the Canadian clinical professor Jordan Peterson has some great views regarding the subject you are emphasizing.

Motivation is vague. Why should you "loose" it? What are you after? There are a lot of motivational seminars that you can go to, not sure if that would help but, to keep yourself motivated, you must first identify your goals, make sure they are S.M.A.R.T., and maybe start with easy short term ones like, I will make a schedule for this whole week and do my best to follow that. Do small things first, take life one step at a time.

Lost motivation is a very dangerous thing in our lives. because without motivation we seem to have no purpose in life. so it's important we keep motivation and optimism. so for people who have lost motivation better do not live alone.

Loosing motivation will lead us to discouragement, every time we are doing some things it always hide our will to do that so we better fight that loosing motivation, we need to think whats in the future and not in the past, always think positive to help you motivate in your doing.

Losing motivation is a bad thing.
The loss of motivation resulting from the many failures that have occurred in life. Especially if failure occurs with a lot of intensity.
In my opinion, we must strengthen our resolve. Accept any failures. Because every failure contains valuable lessons. From failure we can learn to correct every wrong step. Search for every thing wrong, fix and achieve goals in a better way.

What motivates me are the goals i set for myself and my family. A goal to better our lives little by little. With these small victories they pile up and when i look back at how I've been before to who i am now that motivates me more to work harder and be better. Not just for me but for the family depending on me and people who look up to me. The trick is setting achievable goals. Small, short term ones that will eventually be big ones in the future.

Reality is like a punch in the face to make you wake up and see the truth. So the best motivation should be the people around and not yourself because seeing them happy is what will really boost you to continue and reach your goals.

To lose motivation is to lose your dream. There is a similarity of motivation and dreams. People have dreams because they are motivated. People will lose dreams because they lose their motivation to go on.

your reality depends only on you. thought creates matter. what you have inside you can see from the outside. if you understand this mechanism of world order, then your dreams will come true.

If you lose motivation then either you don't know what you want or you don't see any evolution in reaching that point. Ether way keep going forward.
