if intending to buy altcoin in large quantities I think it should be considered again and wait for news for the next few weeks

don't sell all the time and don't buy all the time. Try to stick with something a bit longer than a couple of days or weeks. Many are just trying to catch waves which is nothing that is possible, you can't foresee many of the things that are happening in the market and technical indicators don't always indicate where price will move, its more the external factors that are indicating the price, such as user adoption and regulatory changes. People have moved money into BTC in anticipation of the fork and see what happened, an external force, it was cancelled and now all the money in running back to the altcoins. Everyone wanted a piece of free coins and now that noone is getting it they are getting back to where they started, and lost a lot of money on the way.

If as a result of a fork, bitcoin ramifies with the formation of a new free coin, then there is a sense before the fork to get rid of stagnant and seemingly unpromising altcoyins, or simply to invest additionally in bitcoin. I'm still optimistic about the cash and bitcoin gold created this year. Each of them has its own merits and improvements in comparison with the original bitcoin and yet I do not advise to get rid of them. Especially good so far proved itself bitcoin cash with its high throughput of transactions. And with altayi it is necessary to act proceeding from their reliability and perspective.

Fork won't make any difference to me as I have invested my money in potential altcoins that has great future ahead and even if price crashes I have patience to hold my coins longer and I will only sell them when its giving me best profits on my investments as people get panic very easily when they see price dropping and sell their coins at a wrong time but I am not that kind of a person.

Lot of people and also my friends are cursing themselves for selling Altcoins to get into BTC for Fork. they thought Fork will benefit them with new BTG airdrop and BTC 2X airdrop, now they regret! Smiley
