Only time will tell if Bitcoin cash can replace Bitcoin. With the recent hike in transaction fees for Bitcoin, people will start taking Bitcoin cash more serious. This can only result in more awareness for Bitcoin cash. However, I believe Bitcoin devs know about this and they'll put up strategies to remain top at least for the next couple of years.
But why Bitcoin Cash a replacement for high fees? Isn't ETH, XRP, DOGE are good enough when it comes to transaction fees and time. I don't understand how BCH is better than them. If it wasn't Roger Ver manipulation, I don't think anyone really cares about BCH in terms of tech. BCH has 0 activity on Github with trash Whitepaper. I don't see BCH replacing Bitcoin ever.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

How do you think?

Yes it can be since Bitcoin Cash is made out from bitcoin's blueprint but somehow it's a bit hybrid. But since Bitcoin is still around, i think it's hard for BCH to take BTC's position. Bitcoin is always been there in the cryptoworld already before these alt coins are being made.

It's possible... There are rumous lately that china miners wanted to take over bitcoincash market and make it bigger than bitcoin. Well we don't know exactly for sure, but as you can see the chart like now, bitcoincash is becoming more and more popular and stronger crypto coin each day. Especially since bitcoin fee is so high right now, I think big whales might consider to invest more on bitcoincash rather than bitcoin.
Yeah possibility we cannot tell because bitcoin cash is another currency that is dev by the same team which popularity and trust is inevitable in terms ICO development but for now I've seen it that it would take sometime to rich what Bitcoin had achieved.

Absolutely not in a million years. It probably won't even surpass the top 3 alt coins.

Well, it got so far up since the fork, but I highly doubt that it will ever get close to what Bitcoin has achieved.

How do you think?
I think that at the moment, Bitcoin Cash is not strong enough to replace Bitcoin, even it can not beat ETH. Bitcoin Cash came out about a couple of months ago, it was detached from the original Bitcoin series. Although its value is high, but when compared to its history of growth and speed of growth, I'm afraid it can not replace Bitcoin, at least for the next few years. However, in the distant future everything can happen, Bitcoin Cash may be the first, we don't know the future.

Agreed but it may be possible due to the popularity of bitcoin and so many countries tries to regulate the price cause they are alarmed of the bad side of bitcoin and its value. Bitcoincash can replace bitcoin only if bitcoin stops working, capps all the money, no miner's, time. When i say time i mean an incredibly huge amount of it. Though it might be soon due to the internets influence.

Of course not. Bitcoin Cash will never being able to replace Bitcoin Smiley). A lot of people in this forum said that Bitcoin Cash is just a scam Smiley). I'm also the same with them. I feel that Bitcoin Cash is just a tool of the whales, they use Bitcoin Cash to dump Bitcoin price and try to cheat traders fall into their trap to get more profit so I think there are no chance for Bitcoin Cash to be able to replace Bitcoin although its price are increasing very quickly Smiley

How do you know that and who is the China whale? I know the bitcoin cash has many advantages over the bitcoin technically, and I think it has much potential since it is much cheaper than bitcoin.

In October when the Bitcoin was destabilized by many things including its forks I had been thought that with the time Bitcoin Cash replace BTC. But now it isn’t seems like that. Bitcoin stay strong and influential.

I think that our BTC will be always number 1 in criptocurrency world. In my opinion Bitcoin cash has better technology but it is not so popular as BTC.

How do you think?

In my opinion, this is impossible at this moment. Bitcoin is very strong and I do not think anything can replace it. In the future who knows. For sure Bitcoin will remain in its shape and nothing will change that.

It may be. Do you think the dropping of Bitcoin is related to Bitcoin cash? Don't know for long Bitcoin cash has been existing, but seems like it catches attention.

I don't think so, because bitcoin is always number 1 in cryptocurrency world,
so I don't think another coin can replace bitcoin even that is bitcoin cash Wink

The answer is a plain and simple 'No". It may seem like a good sub for BTC since it forked off of it, but BTC is just simply too popular and used by thousands more.

If Bitcoin will develop further, then no one will replace it. The main problem with Bitcoin is the high fee for translations and executing transactions takes a lot of time. If these two problems are will solved by the developers, Bitcoin will always be namber one
