Hello everyone, recently there has been a lot of panic on this forum due to the big price change of Bitcoin (as it always happens). Understandably, many people are confused and worried as they have lost thousands in their value, especially if they have bought higher than the current price. But as someone who has been into Bitcoin for 1.5 years (not too long, I know) I want to advice to newcomers to simply relax. Huge price swing were always a part of Bitcoin, so there's nothing extraordinary here and the worst thing you can do is to make panic trades. Basically, there are two main approaches to Bitcoin trading - you either hodl it, meaning you never sell it until it reached "the moon", or you are actively trading it to get profit from volatility. So, if you believe in Bitcoin's technology and don't experience as a trader, I suggest you to not touch your coins - Bitcoin always tends to increase in its value in the long run.
That's true, but very difficult (especially the beginner) calmly watch as it melts the Deposit.

This is not an ordinary "price" swing.  The end is near for legacy Bitcoin.

Sorry but bitcoin once again showed to us how dominant he's been all year long. Despite ups and downs and hardforks, bitcoin continuously proves its doubters wrong and now got its highest market value ever at 8K+ since its market value went down because of BCH pumping.

Thanks for your advices! It really helps me as a newbie in this world. Although i don't buy any bitcoin and panic over it because of the price, at least this will be a new knowledge for me and a new information so in the future i won't acr carelessly.
I know that people panic because the price keeps changing, and worried that they may lose their profit. But for me myself, i believe in bitcoin and will always keep faith in it and not selling it.

Thank you so much to make us aware of all this. I still don't know many things about Bitcoin, regarding the pricing. But staying in Bitcointalk forum always help us. And  forum people like you also help us to supress our panics. Thank you for suggesting us with all of these points.

This is what i am also telling to the newbies that i am teaching and guiding in bitcoin they just need to keep their self calm because the market seems so aggressive in terms of its price but it can go only in one way and that is to go up and that is why they should just invest their money and relax and appreciate the price of bitcoin that will literally takeoff anytime.

That's what I've been saying to my friends that I just recently taught about cryptocurrencies. They even went to my house just to ask what should they do because of the recent price dump of bitcoin. I kept telling them over and over again that don't worry and just relax because it is always been like that, just hodl to your bitcoin because when the price rose again, it will be higher than the highest price before it went down.

Thanks for the very helpful suggestions. For beginners like me it is very important advice from seniors like you to fix the mindset on bitcoin. Looks like I need to learn more and understand about bitcoin.

So much useful post for newbie. It is very wise to hold sometimes to get a super price in return as the fluctuations of bitcoin is obvious. But not everyone is patient about bitcoin!!they are always in frustration that bitcoin prices might fall down and they can be collapsed soon, this is why they sell as early as possible.

I'm not to be mean, but honestly, it's very hard for the newbies to listen to the advice from the seniors (tell them to relax making them more nervous) They might eventually learn the process, either by the easy way or the hard way...

You are right bitcoin is digital currency and people turn off their jobs everything to earn bitcoin, when people start investing in bitcoin they start with the level of newbie but people hate to start with low standard and that’s why they leave and don’t patience for good future for that like people i am saying that they need to hold up for sometime because bitcoin give something must for that trouble.

I am agreeing with you that bitcoin is the best source to earn money for future but new people when start investing in bitcoin so they get the level of newbie and that is not enough to earn money a lot and that’s why they leave and feels tease and angry with that but I will just say that they need to be patience and give time to bitcoin after that they will must have a good lie.

I'm grateful for advice from those more experienced in Bitcoin. I only have a small amount but for me I'm happy to hold out for the long haul. I guess it depends how much you have invested.

You are actually right. We should not panic instead be more patient and trust on bitcoin. Its volatility is not a surprise and it is normally happened.

The reason why people loss their money is because they are panic when the balue of bitcoin goes down which is not good because you are losing your money because everyone knows that the thing part of the value of bitcoin is flactuating.

I think this is some valuable advice. When things are volatile, people are more susceptible to making rash decisions. As long as you are confident with your research and decision making, then stick to your strategy and keep on truck'n. Its easier to lose than it is to win when you are indecisive.
