Mainly because of jealousy. They lack self contentment that is why they tend to desire things that they dont possess.

Why Do people desires what's not theirs? It simply because they don't have like that, just because they look like they are lower than them, or maybe just because they don't have a capability be like them.

Lack of self respected and self discipline mainly. At the end of the day it's human to want what others want and be jealous but acting on that in a malicious way is lack of a strong character.

Hmmmmm People are never contented. People that are not contented with what they have can always go to any extent to get what doesnt belong to them. They can steal, rub and even kill to have what they desire. May God help us from such people

Simply because they are not contented of what they have. They don't appreciate the things they have instead they keep on comparing themselves and their things to other people.. Likewise, they are not happy of what they have.

Envy and jealousy is part of human nature. People like to work less but have more. When we see people acquire more, that inner nature of man that want it first assume to take it by force and if is not checked we tend to use the end justify the means.

These are people who do not have their own authority, they have some problems in their life, they can not do anything, and they decide to use someone else's))these people do not have a strong character, this is a weakness, such need to be studied)

People who wants something that another person has should work for it. But if people go to the extent of killing others, stealing from them because of what they crave for, this is indeed greed and should be dealt with.

They desire what's not theirs for so many reason, maybe some of them do not have when they're young like in toys or some gadget, some wants others have because of curiosity- the feelings of having the same things as others,  while other desire it out of envy and jealousy they seems cannot accept that why others have it while they cannot.

I don't understand, do you mean those envious people? well, they are part of your life, accepting them or not, nothing will change, except if you would ignore them. They would only linger around you when you keep on leaning on them. If they are claiming your accomplishments in front of your boss( if you are in the office or work ) then that's a different story.

They don't deserve your time, or maybe they have a lot of time that they still have time to think about you and on your progress.

Very true. Humans, by nature, are a species of no contentment. We strive to be better, better than what they were before and better than others around them. When faced with something where in they're lacking we strive to have them. Now if we fail to have them legally, we try our best to have them vicariously through other, or just downright steal them.

That's not 100% true. Animals aren't greedy they are selfish. They are thinking about satisfying their basic needs in order to survive, so if there's food and it belongs to someone else they will do what they can to take some of it and feed themselves. It's their basic instinct.
Greed and jealousy is different. It goes beyond basic survival. People can be rich and still keep stealing from others only to have more and more.

I think it stems from insecurity. Insecure off their own live they need to fill the void with something from somebody elses. Also jealousy is a factor but I think the insecurity issue is much bigger at play here.
