If I'd put myself into your shoes, I'd invest 30% in ETH, 30% in BTC and 40% in WAVES, IOTA, RIPPLE, Litecoin.

For long term growth you want a token that gives you network rewards.  As the company grows, you are apart of it and get rewarded.

A coin with upside is Centra.  As more people use their card, the more network rewards every token holder will get because the network reward is a % of what users spend.

Price is low right now since wallet and cards were delayed but on schedule to release/ship in the next couple of months.  KYC process to unlock wallet is occurring now.

This is the correct way of thinking. No one can predict for sure the behavior of various altcoins. It would be much wiser to invest into several coins, for instance, into OMG, ETH, NEO, Monero and Ripple.

As you can see, everyone has different opinions and if you want to invest you need to have yours.

The altcoin market could give you a very good profit. Also investing in the ico stage but be careful investing in ideas on a paper.
There are many platforms with different ideas, support the ones you think will be successful.
As the platform grows your investment will grow too, if they fail you could expect your investment decreasing in value.
Search also for a crypto with support in the community, with a good team and good communication.

That's my advice... do your own research.
Don't invest in one crypto just because someone says so.

well that's not easy finding quality project which can give give you a generated profits, i guess its a deep understanding that we should know before
placing our investment, we can't just relied in any news but those possible matter that will really make the project achieved its goal, you can go and
select some ico but never ever to go all in let some btc be save inside your wallet.

While there are so many good projects out here, i would never recommend you to invest all the money to 3-5 coins. Especially, unlike most of the recommendations here, I would tell you to diversify your portfolio and split your investment into 10-15 coins. Some say to invest in BTC, ETH, XRP which seems to be very weak. Put %20-40 to BTC and the rest for 10-15 coins.

If I had 100k to spend, I would put it in at least ten altcoins but which ones, that is the problem. I would also include PPT AKA POPULOUS to the list as the factoring program there will produce a nice roi and that will also help you hedge the risk form other coins which is what you need in such a volatile market as cryypto. It is not like forex markets where the main currencies do not fluctuate as roughly as altcoin do.

When the time op created this thread bought bitcoins with the 100k. Imagine how much made with that fund without any single effort. Why is this any need we have invest in altcoins only to make the profit. Go with which one is better to invest our fund. In that way bitcoin is best one among all crypto currency.
Ethereum also grows pretty decent in the market can invest on that too.

Invest in Litecoin. I am sure that it will soon increase a lot in the future. Its now at 65 dollars nearly so if we pump it up to 120 dollar you would actually double your money with it.

I have some litecoins in my wallet I am keeping it just because i can maximize my profit out of it.
