first it was

[2017-11-15 23:09:46] 12 miner threads started, using 'polytimos' algorithm.
[2017-11-15 23:09:48] JSON decode failed(1): '[' or '{' expected near '<'
[2017-11-15 23:09:48] getblocktemplate failed, falling back to getwork
[2017-11-15 23:09:49] JSON decode failed(1): '[' or '{' expected near '<'
[2017-11-15 23:09:49] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 10 seconds

using mpos

2017-11-15 23:12:59] 12 miner threads started, using 'polytimos' algorithm.
[2017-11-15 23:13:00] HTTP request failed: Empty reply from server
[2017-11-15 23:13:00] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 10 seconds
[2017-11-15 23:13:10] HTTP request failed: Empty reply from server
[2017-11-15 23:13:10] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 10 seconds

I hate god damn CPU and GPU mining.

Hmm... 9 Mh/s network, difficulty 0.9 and a i5 gets about 32kh/s. Guess solo mining already is a waste of time.

Ups, just realized my mistake (-a polytimos). Now it's 182kh/s, quite a difference Smiley

//cpuminer.exe --algo polytimos -o 127.0.0.1:42518 -u user -p pass -t 3

when you run the bat with the address "user", it does not issue any error.

//cpuminer.exe --algo polytimos -o 127.0.0.1:42518 -u  -u PQQiZd315C3CegAAw9WhqWdLGzy7ZY9kni -p pass -t 3

When you run the file with your address, it gives: [2017-11-16 03:21:24] 4 miner threads started, using 'polytimos' algorithm.
[2017-11-16 03:21:26] JSON decode failed (1): '[' or '{' expected near '<'

Ninja launch yet the network hashrate is absurdly high, if we are to follow the reports of the other users.

No it isn't. Heck 10 server CPUs could probably cover the whole network hash rate.

I'm compiling the wallet at the moment, will check it for myself if it's worth it to mine or not. The binaries provided by the dev are missing libraries or are most probably built for Ubuntu derivatives and don't work with other distros.

Yeah I built it within Unix 16.04 -  Was pretty easy to do, but the instructions were not terribly clear. One of my biggest complains. I do enjoy the thought behind the coin though. For sure.
