ETH or LTC long term?

I believe that both of these coins are worthy to invest for a long time. After 2 years they can be very expensive. I sincerely believe in it

I still stick to my choice to choose eth rather than ltc for long term investment. now ltc has become one of the great coins but the ethereum platform will continue to grow and can serve as a good coin in the future. It is better to buy ETH and LTC together.

during current market situation now eth or ltc, doesnt matter, all are longterm, cause i dont think that this year we will see eth over 500 and  ltc over 150, i really hope that i am mistaken, but with every new day when i see price drops of btc and altcoins its make me sad and more pessimistic

I'd choose ETH of LTC if I were you. I don't see anything interesting in LTC as well as any reasons for it to grow more than ETH.

Brand new to the cryptocurrency market.  Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC.  It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it.  I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019.  It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin.   I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future.  Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product.  Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere.  My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years?  I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside.  Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC?  What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus? 

I have nothing against BTC.  I don't see it going anywhere.  It is the giant.  However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Most likely ETH will be a more profitable coin than LTC.  But you can divide the investment between coins and not take chances.

I clearly chose ethereum compared to litecoin, I admit that litcoin has almost the same volume as ethereum on the market, but for the future ethereum is more appropriate because there are many tokens that use the ethereum platform

Like some people here. I prefer to invest in long term in ethereum. Simply because i just love ethereum. And i know in my heart that this coin will be more valuable in the future.

I think the Ethereum has more potential for growth 
At the present pattern and stream of their individual additions, Ethereum would be much practical and benefit astute. Ordinary their is new ICO and the request of Eth is getting higher. Likewise, Eth has more utilize now than LiteCoin , Litecoin this previous couple of months been stale and no new advancement that would influence it's cost to increment. Etherum can be held as long as possible.

I think I will choose ethereum only because with ethereum, I know that I can make a lot of money and for the litecoin, I need a long time before I can make a profit. besides that, if I compare the price between ethereum and litecoin, ethereum can increase higher but litecoin is not and this is why I choose ethereum to buy for a long term.

I would go for both ETH and Litecoin for long term. Long term investment is actually the type of investment that adds to the worth of your portfolio overtime. And in the mean time the cost of investing money in Litecoin and ETH is low as well so it is the best time to invest right now for long term. The profit earned in long term is a life time profit because we have witnessed it in last year’s boom when people holding coins for years earned millions of dollars.

Both now are very cheap. Some experts predicted that Litecoin will reach 500USD this year. But probably this will not happen.
I think that Ethereum has better fundamentals than Litecoin. But Litecoin also working very hard to be more accepted in the world (Litepal, Litepay and many more).

eth is the best choice than ltc, I think even though ltc is potentially good but ethereum will be better than any coin. trust me to invest in ethereum so that the profit you have can be maximized.

I would probably ETH only held on to a short term to quickly make a profit.  Therefore, it is better to hold LTC for a longer term.
