Personally, I believe ethereum is the best altcoin for long term investment because of the very good potentials and features that it has. It has very good team member, technology and it is also a promising coin that is good for long term investment.

for me ETH is favorite, but LTC isnot bad currency, i think ETH have better pottential then LTC, becouse ETH team working allday with new and new ICO projects, Smart contracts is better gift for ETH pottential.

I don't follow LTC too closesly but what is the huge progress of it last year? Yea, the price has increased a lot but what real development of the coin happened? ETH has more possibilities and also more potential imho

with each days know ethereum and other tokens and coins just falling down and when market go green, just btc growing back, other coins/tokens just recover a little, so with each day btc dominance is growing, i dont know when it ends, but know just better hold all in tether or btc

I don't think LTC is a good choice for a long-term holding, I see no progress at all these year with this token, I would rather invest into Ethereum, I mean its a not just a better choice but a safer choice as well. Brand new to the cryptocurrency market.  Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC.  It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it.  I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019.  It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin.   I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future.  Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product.  Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere.  My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years?  I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside.  Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC?  What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus? 

I have nothing against BTC.  I don't see it going anywhere.  It is the giant.  However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

I think litecoin can be more successful in the future, but I don't believe that it can have a price as good as the price of ethereum.

And also, I think bitcoin is maybe the best choice on the current market.

I believe that Ethereum has a great potential, as 1000 projects are working on its blockchain, there will be much more soon. The project is constantly evolving and will be big updates soon

because theyre backed by superior team and devs, and ofcourse its an old coin which already have huge investor behind it

ETH for the sake of life. They have the better platform, fast transaction, low fees and also the smart contract technology that have been used by almost all project in this forum. That's why if you check on Coinmarketcap, ETH is second the best crypto coin.

Ltc is a trusted coin i bought ltc when it was around $ 1-3 and sold a little bit to invest in other coins, but its a very stable coin.. Market cap is lower its cheaper and easier to go up..

You can make good profits when the market goes up in this situation..

Eth is a new coin compared to ltc, but growth very fast from begin of 2017 untill now and if you look at the profits it was smarter to invest in Eth begin of january 2017 then invest in Ltc..

Ltc was around $4 dollar and Eth was around $8..

Most ico's using Eth and thats the reason why i think Eth can give you also good profits..


If you ask me i will say 80% Eth and 20% Ltc..

%60 Btc, 20% Eth and 15% coins like ltc, xrp, xlm, eos, ada, tron, neo and the other 5% pure speculation coins with potential to give you minimal 100x in the future..

Both are good for long term but ETH has huge potential and you will make the very good amount of money when the prices of bitcoin increasing. I think LTC will not give much profit compared to ETH, LTC is also a profitable bit not like ETH.

LTC and Ethereum they're both good to invest for long term however ethereum is most popular among the two and eth has a strong potential to grow the price unlike ltc the price still cheap they increase the price but not so high but they're both good for long term.

You can invest both in thereum or even in litecoin since these two are very good token to hold. In the meantime if you want to follow my portfolio, I actually prefer ethereum more than litecoin.
