ETH is a very good project, but at the moment I'm losing faith in it. That's why I would invest in both coins in order to reduce the risks of losses.

I would select Ethereum, because it is being used much more than LTC and shows us better potential.

It's true that what you say is better we invest in both,
moreover between ethereum and litecoin it seems like the future is promising,
so there is nothing wrong if we invest in both because it will bring huge profits

ETH will always be ahead. It continues to grow by improving itself ETH. LTC is just old technology.

If for me both are as good for long-term investment,
it is true if we compare ethereum with litecoin, of course ethereum is much better

BTC will always be the top choice for long term buy and hold. After that, both ETH and LTC should be good for long term  also.

BTC is always the most reliable. Only ETH can compete with him, but sooner. ETH in the crawl stage.

Of course, Litecoin is better, because it is one of the first after bitcoin. Yes there is Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and others, but they are an order of magnitude inferior to the speed and low commission of Litecoin.

I kinda agree with bitcoin would be the first reliable choice in long term investment. Hodling with bitcoin never give you an anxious feeling because you belive of its potential that will always grow. I think Ethereum and Litecoin is the same as bitcoin. We can use these three coins for hodling.

Brand new to the cryptocurrency market.  Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC.  It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it.  I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019.  It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin.   I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future.  Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product.  Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere.  My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years?  I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside.  Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC?  What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?

I have nothing against BTC.  I don't see it going anywhere.  It is the giant.  However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Thanks
The ETH, although stable, but I want to try the LTC and evaluate why it has a high volume of trading and what are its advantages. It can be much easier in terms of generating income.

they diversify into both,  and then teh top 25 coins after that, with a few ico.

for me top 25 could be where you power might be at.

In my opinion you should still consider investing in ETH more than LTC. Because ETH is just behind Bitcoin all the time, so i will only choose Bitcoin versus the loser for ETH as a long-term investment strategy. Daily trading with ETH is much more than LTC.

LTC is a poor version of bitcoin. So investing in LTC for the long term is a bad choice.
ETH with BTC is the best choice for short-term and long-term investment. There will be no cryptocurrency that can bring absolute trust like ETH and BTC. Also if I have more options I will not choose LTC because its price will not be able to increase like before

Bitcoin is gonna hit 100K usd

To say now choose I probably chose LTC, because this coin grows and falls with a lower amplitude than ETH, ETH is now due to the ICO lax to draw too much money, so the amount of ETH sold out And they sell at a low level. making eth prices decrease increasingly.

BATH and LTC rise when bitcoin is growing, judging by the autumn of last year. so it remains to wait for the growth of bitcoin, this is the main thing

What you say is true that the main choice for long-term investing is bitcoin,
and between ethereum and litecoin it is equally good for long-term investment,
so that I think we don't need to doubt the two coins

I would not be such a pessimist like you are but I also think that it is much better to invest in Bitcoin now. Ethereum is also good but you will have to wait for the returns long.
