I received this private message from @romankosoj a couple days ago, expecting him to fully publicly admit that they're using Masari code (https://getmasari.org/, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2159114), but they haven't, are still belligerent in response to others here regarding this, and they keep trying to save face with no visible public intent to retain Masari's copyright notice.

The PM I received from @romankosoj implicitly admitting that Fonero is a Masari fork (https://image.ibb.co/hpUNA6/guilty.png)

There is nothing wrong with publicly admitting that Fonero is a Masari fork that is a fork of Monero, with proper copyright notice retention. Failure to do so just raises all kind of alarms.

edit: for context, Masari has re-written a very large portion of the code-base to refactor out legacy requirements from Monero (the so called Fonero "Unique Modified Stable Kernel"), and in part was so that it can be "v1" without any baggage - there are no "borrowed" files, the Masari code base has to have been used in its entirety by Fonero for it to work.

hahahah, thaer, I beg you, do not be so nervous because we'll be better than you. I suggested that you live together, you apparently did not want to.

Stop annoying.

We tolerate, but patience is the end.
Do not make it worse, let's live together.

If you continue to advertise your coin on our branch, we will be forced to take action.

I told you everything, I do not want to answer any more of your inventions.

Immediately after the first message ...
A man speaking about copyrights ...

@romankosoj you mean my commit in your screenshot that says "Ensure proper credits in every file, not just Readme." ?

What about my initial commit that clearly differentiates my commits from Monero's with the exact branch it comes from?

I'm done here, good luck with your Masari fork.

cdrx
1. there is no digital signature.
2. Recompile the inks and you will get the same.
3. Since there is an embedded miner in the wallet, it is defined as "a variant of Win64 / BitCoinMiner.FO for potentially unsafe" unsafe does not mean a virus, but unwanted software

if we add a digital signature, then there will be no detectors.
