Why people sell bitcoins?

Maybe they bought their bitcoin at low price and already have profit.

There's a lot of reason to sell bitcoin. I don't actually sell my bitcoin, as much as possible I would like to hold them. However, whenever I run out of money, I convert some of my bitcoin or if I need to buy something, I use my bitcoin.

I think there are a lot of factors which cause people to sell their bitcoins. Just before christmas i saw this major drop. My conclusion is that people needed money for christmas. Also in some country's the bitcoin is forbidden, which forces people to sell their stack.

the main factor of people selling bitcoin because there is a need ... or also they worry hackers if storing bitcoin too long ..... maybe also because bitcoin prices have gone up

Well ideally bitcoin is a means of investment, but if you really need the money for whatever reason, you have to sell the coins to get some sort of fiat currency back.

Even some of crypto whales who had a lot of coins on their balance sold it recently. I really don't know what is this tend about, or they have too much money that the future price of bitcoin doesn't play a role to them, or they know that a constant fall is coming? you are right. bitcoin is the best asset on the internet for now. the only reason they sell bitcoins is because they need money. if they do not need it, I do not think they will sell their biggest investment.

They sell bitcoin for trading with altcoin and will get a profit from selling altcoin. And do not ignore the government, they are always greedy to anything.
