I agree with that, imagine if people will not sell their bitcoin demand grows faster than supply and the price correspondingly goes up. The bottom line is supply and demand that set the price.

People may sell bitcoins maybe because it is not easy to purchase things using bitcoins in their country, there were some countries that doesn't introduce bitcoins so for example if you want to buy a house and lot and the owner doesn't accept bitcoins because maybe he don't have any bitcoins account, and you have no cash to pay.. So that's the time that you want to sell your bitcoins.

People panic yes but there will still be a huge number of people who sold in the recent crash even though they knew it was a mistake, you cannot discount the personal circumstances of each person, they may really need a certain amount of money out of bitcoin for one thing or another and do not want to risk losing that if the price falls further.

People are selling bitcoins depending on their needs, there are a lot of people who works on the market and monitor the charts to earn even just a small amount of profit just to have an income either monthly or daily because in this way, they can earn more money rather than working on the corporate world.

People have has different needs in life and in order to sustain that we need money to spend. Bitcoins is the easiest way to earn money since the value of your investment is increasing rapidly in the market or you can work on ico's in order to earn altcoins.

I try not to sell btc. If it isn’t necessary, people shouldn’t sell it either. But life causes many illnesses or urgent needs, everything is very expensive and difficult to live with. I guess that's why people have to sell it eventually.
