It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

of course ethereum, because the price is still stable enough to make everyone can buy at a price that is not too expensive, I will choose Ethereum Buy and hold it until it costs like bitcoin Wink

Just hold both. Bitcoin - store of value (digital gold) and Ethereum - platform with big organizations behind it (EEA) and dApps building on it. 2018 will be a exciting year for Ethereum with all the icos coming live with their products which will see many use cases of ethereum popping up.

I rather chose both coins, i am not going to choose either one of them because both are a very potential coins. And yes that in the past few weeks, ethereum shows that is how a potential that coin was but since bitcoin is the foundation of all coins surely it can cope up with all the issues and be back to the price it was.

This is a hard call.  From a newbie perspective, I see BTC as being huge because it has recognition, "first-in" advantage, and is the "default" value everything else is measured against.  So naturally it has value, kind of like the "gold" standard.   However, I think the value is far too great for anyone new to the space to achieve great returns. So I think Ethereum is the place to be for new people to the market.

if viewed from the stable price better ethereum. but I prefer to hold bitcoin. although the price is unstable can go down drastically as now, but I am sure later bitcoin rate will soar again, maybe it can break through the previous highest price.

 Tongue Tongue Tongue
I have both Bitcoin and ethereum and if i have more spare money i will still buy more Bitcoin and ethereum because i strongly believe that both of them will do very well . Their dependent on each others as one of them increase in value so also the other will increase in value. So buying Bitcoin is the Same thing as buying ethereum for they almost have the same percentage of growth in my opinion.

Why no hold both. Since bitcoin and eth as of now are starting to drop, its the perfect timing to buy these coins and hold them then wait for it to pump. This dump is obviously happening almost every year. Look for the candlestick diagram of coin's value for the past 3 years and compare the similarities.

 Tongue Tongue Tongue

I thought I would choose bitcoin. because we know the amount of bitcoin is huge, and it increases every year. and provides an enormous profit opportunity for the future.

I mostly prefer to hold ethereum. Because bitcoin is much higher value now and also transaction fee also high. But when we consider about Ethereum it is transaction fee is lower than bitcoin. Almost every airdrop and bounty ask to provide ethereum address. most expert in cryptocurrency invest in ethereum. Beacuse the prediction of value of ethereum will be brought more profit in the future. But without bitcoin there may not be a ethereum. Because other cryptocurrencies mainly depend on bitcoin. Both of bitcoin and ethereum are important. But we think about holding ethereum is the best option.

At the moment, in my opinion, you need to go to ETH and keep the majority in it as it is now more stable than BTC
