BTC for me, but keeping ETH for gas on my wallet so I could withdraw and convert them into cash when I need some, better to plan ahead before its too late especially during emergency time.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

ETH more promising for profit. Because i want the money i invest work more actively. Investing in bitcoin makes me spoiled. Because just waiting for price greater than before. While ethereum, I can use to buy tokens that have bright prospects.

I will suggest you to don't hold any cryptocurrency for long time. Buy it now sell immediately when it's price increase. Try to do crypto trade in best trading platform like bitrex, polonix, coinexchange etc. Hold coin for short time & sell when its price increase.

The recent bitcoin price volatility is particularly large, but the price of eth has been very stable, you choose to buy eth or bitcoin?
 Tongue Tongue Tongue
Today, all statements about the superiority of one crypto-currency over another are without serious grounds. Tongue
I advise not to dwell on one, but to acquire tokens of bitcoin and etherium, investing in both systems. This clearly increases the chances of profit and minimizes potential risks. Cool Cool Cool

This is very good advice. Diversification of investment is very good. I would even recommend dividing your investments into more parts and buying other prospective altcoins. This will increase your chances of success.  Smiley

This is wrong, completely wrong!

Remember that bitcoin was only $850 on march 2017 and we saw incredible incrase in bitcoin prices in the upcoming months.

I clearly understand that in current market BTC looks much more interesting to hold, cause its starting to grow.
But I am personally true believer of ALTs, thus I prefer holding ETH. Its my personal vision, even I understand that I loose some value due to BTC price increase.

I love both. I prefer ETH when exchanging for other altcoins since the transactions are lower. But Bitcoin is also lowering their transactions now so that is positive news.

Both, i prefer to hold it especially when I invest to ETH and BTC were the value is high. I will wait until my capital will back and have profit on it before I will sell it. So for now, holding it until I can. Smiley

That is true; however, being that it is a normal path the market takes. I would suggest that you invest in other coins that can have a quicker return of investment. For now, I think that Bitcoin is in the process of recuperating so any investment made with it is technically a long term investment because it would take months before you get some premium profit from it. Also, Ethereum right now has a better potential in term of returning an investment since there are many plans concerning the coin in the next following months. Having said that, I think the better coin to choose "now" is Ethereum.

I hodl both of them. 50% of my portfolio is bitcoin. 25% ethereum and 25% other altcoins. But sometimes I sell some bitcoin and I make my portfolio 50% ethereum. I belive in ethereum. I have never lost by hodling ethereum. And we will see what will happen next!

I think ethereum and the bitcoin are the best choices for a long term investment. In addition to these two, I think IOTA and Waves are really promising coins.
And finally, I think we can not underestimate the big potential of NEO and QTUM.

I think Bitcoin probably has a slightly better chance of staying strong in the long run over Ethereum because of how its viewed as like the Gold of the virtual world, the safe store of value, whereas Ethereum is more about every day practical applications and this is an area where a lot of other 2nd and 3rd generation cryptos are coming along pushing things much further ahead. A lot will depend on whether changes to Ethereum mean it can deal with such things as CryptoKitties which highlighted its current limits.

I believe that you need to have both these coins, the market is very volatile. The spheres of application of these coins are different, therefore each coin will find its place in the future world.  Smiley

For me it's better to hold both, the bitcoin and ethereum because as of today both this token are in a low price. so we need to wait or hold both of this token untill the value of it will become stable.

i choose to hold bitcoin for now.
bitcoin will always maintain its position in the top,
even the price is far more higher than ethereum, but butcoin is still the best choice if you want to choose between both of them.

I wouldn't choose either butni would rather choose holding both since these two coins have so much potential. They have dofferent technologies and grows in different ways but if i were to invest, i would definitely invest in noth coins. Base on the current values of the coins, though bitcoin dropped from its highest value last year, both coins show growth in value and i believe it will continue to do so over the mext few months.

Ive made more profit holding bitcoin than most of my alt coins. My alts have grew alot in price but bitcoin has netted me the most profit to date. I think my timing had everything to do with tbis though, buying in bitcoin at a fairly low price. But at this time, i think you will probably be seeing more profit if you invest into ethereum. As bitcoin seems like its ag its peak. But you never know, bitcoin never stops surprising all the doubters and non believers..
I agree for that bitcoin is bigger profit than others as it gives bigger value in year to year comes. And maybe ethereum is in progress but it is good also to have ethereum so that if ethereum have progress we can also have. So far eth no will bigger tgat others and more popular in terms of trust and valuable alt among others. But we all know bitcoin has also there own value and surprisingly comes out. So it would be better to have this two based on strategy and timing.

According to me,  i prefer to buy ETH rather than BTC.  Because BTC now is so expensive and it just will raise
a few and i think BTC more fluctuative and not stabilize than ETH.
I choose ETH because now all ico paid the bounty hunter with ETH and i believe ETh will be lead the market in this year.  For me ETH more promising and more profitable.

I always hold BTC, at least 40% of my portfolio consists of BTC and that is strategic source for me  Smiley ethereum was indeed stable first days after BTC deeps, but finally it lost about 50% as well.
