Many great altcurrencies outperform BTC after ICO finished and they hit the exchanges. Especially if they get listed on Bittrex or Poloniex. That is a good opportunity for making real money. its true but there is still a lot more altcoin out there that are great for investment. for example coin such a GVT the value is grow so much more than 100 % in early sales. if you asking me is it still worthed to invest in altcoin, i would answer yes indeed its. but you need to be carefull for choosing which coin to invest in. invest mean you put a risk the more grow you expect the bigger risk you would bear. keep in mind there is lose and gain. good luck for you

I think altcoins in this era are now very volatile, fragile and risky just because of its emerging quantity in the market. On the otherhand, with the right research and choice of coins, Altcoins are the best way to earn 100% to 500% in profit or maybe even more. Engaging in altcoins is like 50-50 in risk/profit but Ill choose to risk some of my investment to improve my experience and decide better in the future instances. So I'd say it would be worth to invest in altcoins.

Actually, some altcoins which you think are special or have potential and they are still hundreds or thousands satoshis will blow your mind if they were going up about 100% or even hit 1000% in a week or probably they are long-term which can stand up against bitcoin pumping.

At this moment it does not make much sense to invest in altcoins, you can get almost all alts for cheap but that is simply not enough if the price of bitcoin keeps increasing, you need to try to time the market and buy alts once you think bitcoin's bull market is over.
