Hello, Im new in crypto and have a question (a stupid one).. I never really gave it much though and now i wonder. Is price of bitcoin so high (compared to altcoins) because it is so much superior or is it just because it is THE coin - the original one. Cheers  Because it is the first cryptocurrency known to people. It's like the base of all crypto coins. And also because of it's limited supply makes a lot of people want to own bitcoin. Most people trade alts to earn more btc. |

bitcoin has been through a long journey, reasonable if the current price is so high. bitcoin is the first coin in crypto, and bitcoin already existed from 9 years ago, whereas another new coin of maize.

yes, The long time of existence of bitcoin in the cryptomarket is the main reason why bitcoin price is to high, lets consider also that during that time there a huge market demand and most encouraging to invest due to its profitability. |

I think because the demand for bitcoin is very high, which causes the price is also high. The economic formula is quite simple. Moreover, bitcoin pair in trade very much. Bitcoin has many pair with many types of altcoin which causes the market to be heavily dominated by bitcoin and has a very large capitalization value

For me, I think it's nothing so much to ponder on why Bitcoin seems to be far ahead of others. There are several reasons responsible for that actually; out of which mention just one which I think has been the most important one.
This is the fact that Btc is the progenitor of every other coins in the crypto world. Thus, it opened the world up to her and its every other kind. Hence, it has gained far more popularity than any other one. Thus it's widespread usage has give it an edge over others.

Bitcoin is the original one, so is it superior. I beleive that altcoins are followers of bitcoin and should be put after bitcoin.
When a person newly gets involved to cryptocurrency, he must know the bitcoin first in order to understand crypto world.

Bitcoin is the most valuable coin right now. Started more than 8years ago with an ico price of 50cent and now worth more than 8000$ this is as a result of good team and good audience it has gotten a good acceptance

Its price is high because the it is the reserve currency for all the other coins. Furthermore the demand for it is in the highest peak and everybody wants to buy firstly btc rather than altcoins. Bitcoin is high becuse is great demand for it. A great demand for him is becouse every moment he has less and less. People dig up bitcoin and he is limited. And that gives him a high value,becouse it is limited. Just like a anything,like gold or everthing is it less and less on the market. Also recently, there is a great deal of excitement around him, people are interested in investing in an investment project, which gives rise to even greater demand for bitcoins, so the price grows. Bitcoin is the one and only leader. It's the first and the greatest crypto currency. It's price will go up further, especially if the futures will be released now officially.
