Why is the price of bitcoin so high

Im new in crypto and have a question (a stupid one).. I never really gave it much though and now i wonder.

Is price of bitcoin so high (compared to altcoins) because it is so much superior or is it just because it is THE coin - the original one.

Bitcoin is the original one, so is it superior. I beleive that altcoins are followers of bitcoin and should be put after bitcoin.
When a person newly gets involved to cryptocurrency, he must know the bitcoin first in order to understand crypto world.
The reason of price rise in bitcoin, is because bitcoin is nominated worldwide and is acceptable at most places, whereas people are mostly not aware of altcoins

In that case id assume that when time goes by and cryptocoins become more and more mainstream and used by the public (assuming they wont get banned) BTC should be surpassed by other coins which solve issues btc doesnt. Also fees and transfer times seem a bit too much

perhaps the first Bitcoin coin in the world of crypto and altcoin is a bitcoin follower. bitcoin is nominated all over the world and is acceptable in most places, whereas most people are not aware of altcoin nor have value but are still under Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is representative of the whole crypto industry. So if you ask someone about bitcoin don't even understand the cryptocurrency they call bitcoin. Therefore, all invest in it. And the fact that basically all pairs are traded via BTC so even if you want to buy altcoins you first need to buy BTC.

i can't explain why bitcoin price today is to high the price value even if have many trials for bitcoin now there are the issue about bitcoin replace the new cryptocurrency the bch. but bitcoin continue to increase the price value in the marketcap, i think this is the proof bitcoin is in the highest strongest coins and have more demands in the market thats why bitcoin keep increasing.

I will tell you about some reasons, the fact that the bitcoin was become the first crypto in the cryptocurrency's history. that means a lot of the demand gets centralized into the bitcoin.
The second caused by the fixed supply of the bitcoin. There are more adoptions to the bitcoin itself to pump the bitcoin's price.

Basically right now almost nobody is buying bitcoin for its usage like it was meant to be, everyone is buying it now for a  quick profit.

What is the wallet for bitcoin. I am aware there is a wallet in coinbase for BTC and ethereum and lite coin.

Ether wallet is for Ethereum based tokens. Is there any specific wallet for bitcoin family?

One simple reson, because bitcoin has a limited supply, initialy bitcoin was created with 21 million btc available, and with it being a new idea people wanted to support so they started mining it and buying , and thus lead to a high demand a demand which was not fully fulfied as the diffuclty of mining started increasing, and this made the price goes up, which made bitcoin famous which lead to even higher demand, so in the ned you have a big circle of demand, that makes bitcoin what it is today.

The total value of bitcoin is only high or low depending on what you compare it to.

Compare it to a number of corporations and it is not so huge after all.  Compare it with other modes of payment and stores of value and it is a drop in a truck of buckets.

Its due to mrket demand. Many people want to hold some butcoin because it has isen exponentially in recent months. They expect it to rise because other people would also wanvti hold some. This cycle makes the demand for bitcoin high. That's why its price has been so high.

It is normal that bitcoin always remain in high portion in the crypto world. Some time bitcoin rise very high quickly because of hard fork news.Many time pump and dump is depend on a news that will be true or false it is not matter. but the news will make a change surely.And now a days alt are dumping and dumping so people are selling altcoins and buying more bitcoin.

The demand is greater than before !
That's why I keep invest on bitcoin every month and yes.. it was a good decision for me as for now I can sold them for profit.
It's more profitable than a gold, IMO !

It's not that complicated, all around the world, people are buying itcoin because they think it's a great opportunity for an efficient investment.

They keep demanding it, hence the price of bitcoin is booming as a result.
