Hello, Im new in crypto and have a question (a stupid one).. I never really gave it much though and now i wonder. Is price of bitcoin so high (compared to altcoins) because it is so much superior or is it just because it is THE coin - the original one. Cheers The price of bitcoin is volatile and it interacts with the news regarding cryptocurrency. As i observe right now if there is a negative news specially in the social media, we could expect a decrease in the price of bitcoin. |

The most important reason for Bitcoins price is the limited supply. Limited supply create higher demand. Higher demand brings the price up.

Cheers One obvious reasons is that it is the first digital coin. For almost 10 years of Bitcoin's existence, it has accumulated a huge market cap which is one factor of it's high price. Other coins like Ethereum were created along the path which was paved by Bitcoin. Good thing about alts is that they gave competition among all coins which makes the market active. then today you should say that the price of Bitcoin is very cheap

true, if you are new, Bitcoin price is very expensive,
but if you are a person who knows bitcoin when the price is 17k USD
then today you should say that the price of Bitcoin is very cheap
It's high for people who are afraid of it , i never think Bitcoin is high at any moment at all because at that moment that price is presented for the valuation of Bitcoin. So it means at that moment, Bitcoin is really valuable for users all over the world. I would love to buy Bitcoin when i needed even it's at 25k$ also because i truely believe that Bitcoin is a currency. |

from my point of view, Bitcoin as a whole the crypto industry. Therefore all investments in it. And the fact that you can go through BTC. And with it becomes a new idea that is supported by everyone. They start to mine and buy and thus lead to High Question Questions. Do not wait anymore, and make the price go up, let bitcoin more famous and higher.

I believe such high price of Bitcoin is due to the high demand of it. And demand is so high because of the popularity. The more popularity Bitcoin gain, the more expensive it will be. This is the main problem with the whole crypto world. We have to gain popularity. A lot of people did not believe in Bitcoin. Now some of this people are investing in Bitcoin and they think alts are not to be trusted. Popularity and the right information are the most important of all.

I don't thin kthat the price is Bitcoin is too high right now. It is a good time to buy some bitcoins for long term. Well we maybe dip a bit more maybe to 5k but I if you have some time just buy now and hold it for a longer time!
You're right. Now it's not the best time for BTC, 'cause its price is not so high like it was a couple or more months ago |

In that case id assume that when time goes by and cryptocoins become more and more mainstream and used by the public (assuming they wont get banned) BTC should be surpassed by other coins which solve issues btc doesnt. Also fees and transfer times seem a bit too much
Because Bitcoin has the greatest benefit of being the first of its kind to the community that supports bitcoin is huge and also the demand for bitcoin.Alts others only compete with each other because bitcoin demand in the market is still high for bitcoin and some time ago bitcoin rises very quickly decreases but no one can replace the bitcoin position Well, some altcoins bring even more benefit. You can make more money investing in under dollar coins than buying BTC. I suppose the reason for its high price is the greatest popularity and hype around it. |

It seems to me that the price will drop to almost $ 5000 at some point in time in the future, but then, of course, growth will begin again.
