Usually, investors lose confidence in the project if they don't know what happen in the background. That is just another way but that does not exclude trading. Trading is a very good way to earn a lot passively even if you do it yourself or you make use of bots. I have been making a lot from trading over the years and as long as you know what you are doing, you will always be fine. I think you sould try automatically trader bots on binance or bittrex exchange platform , moon bot or gun bot , dev of this bots sell it on bitcoin talk also , they tell that his bots make about 1% profit daily.

I have never tried any of these bots but I learned that they work a lot in some cases and for something that can be making 1% profit daily, which is not bad at all. I am still going to be considering this later on anyway since I cannot day trade, so I can at least use some part of my portfolio to that effect. Nevertheless, I still prefer the idea of my own short term trading anyway, so that makes it better for me in anyway.

In some perspective, I feel an income from trading should not be considered as passive income as trading itself as an active way of money making and not an easy one for most of the people. But for the people, who do not need to spend more time for trading, it may be a passive income.

Lol yeah the title are confusing , it's clearly that trading itself requires you to work actively not passively , you can't do buy certain coin and then get a steady income with it , you need to actively buy and selling it. If you trade and make some earnings than this is active profit. So with trading you have to engage real hard to have some use if it. Passive profit would be if you would only keep coins in your wallet and make profit on the price changes without doing anything.
