Here's a logo I made!

01001001 00100000 01110011 01100101 01100101 00100000 01110111 01101000 01100001 01110100 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100100 01101001 01100100 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 01110010 01100101 00101110

01001001 01101110 01100100 01100101 01100101 01100100 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100100 01101001 01100100 00101110

lol, just seeing this now. i don't really like this honestly. i like the N and the brackets, but both look to plain maybe if you could stylize them a little bit, you know make the logo just the n and the brackets with a white/beveled border. i hope i didn't confuse you to much. i want something nice and fancy like bitcoin and litecoin have.

FTR: I bought 555.55555555 tickets (555 functionally) in that lotto and received 4758.39 in prizes.

That's 8.5x profit, nice.

Ok checkpoint is almost ready for windows clients.

1. Miners, i will inform you that block rewards will not be increasing. it will remain at 10. the reasoning behind this move is that any change to the block reward devalues the blocks that have already been mined. just hear me out here, if we can make it to the exchange, you should be able to get more for 10 nan's at the current block value than you would if it was raised to 100 block reward. please do not whine and complain, if you don't like it don't mine it.

2. Difficulty

the difficulty adjusts every 24 hours roughly. a number of you have mentioned the sluggish transaction speeds. i am in unchartered waters here, i am curious what will happen if i try to lower block times to that of digitalcoin. i don't want to invalidate the chain and slap anyone in the face in the process. if anyone knows or wants to help, please don't hesitate to contact. you will be compensated for your work and helpfulness, which is why i reserved such a large premine. i knew i would need the help going in.

So we are going to stay at 10 for the reward not going to change it correct?

I think time has shown that the altcoins with a reasonable and fixed reward rate has the best chance at success. Besides, if we end up on Cryptsy in a few days, you don't want a coin to be one of the 0.000x currencies.

i'm thinking of paying commision for mining until it hits the exchange. think its a good idea?

hmm... i have you tried setting nonces(find the nonce on the block explorer, it should be the same on everyblock. having the nonce set in your conf will give you a slight edge.) and scantime to 1 and queue to 0? i may send you a few coins to keep you mining... as most of you know both of my 5850s died yesterday, so i'm no longer mining(unless you count my whopping 1.8 k/h cpu which i'm not currently mining with either.
