Yes, bitcoin might hit up to $8000 of it's crypto value.
Bitcoin increases it's value maybe because of investors invest money for it. But the thing is,
bitcoin might hit value higher than $8000 but it will take long to hit higher value.

I guess it will continue up to 10000$ ithe coming 2018 i guess it will completely take over in the cryptocurrency i guess completely the bitcoiin is dominating in the cryptocurrency world i guess so maybe there are no chance for the other cryptocurrency to go op in the market but i guess the price of bitcoin will continue to skyrocket in the market because of the marketvalue of the demand and the supply of this token obbviiously a lot of investors are continue to in vest and hold their token in the market for a higher profit.

Well that is a really great news, especially for those who are really relying on BTC. It would benefactor alot of people who are engaged with BTC. And the community of crytocurrency will be more of a big huge name for that.

this is another one of those round numbers that is creating a psychological barrier to break and that is creating some resistance and when that happens, all the technical analysts starts forming up lines for themselves around that number and add to that resistance!
additionally all the altcoin pumps an FUD is creating some sell pressure which is making it harder for the rise to happen fast.

all of this is just slowing down the record breaking event though. i expect it to be broken within a week.

This is true, the big reason that we can't get over this hump is the thing that Bitcoin will be crushing through another ATH and then people will start calling for 9000, then 10000, and so on and so forth.

But when you think about it, this all has to come crashing down at some point. As all of these technical analysis people look good now as they're calling for more and more gains, but this can't go on forever, I can't see the traders sustaining it.

As long as the market remains bullish, we will hit $8000 anytime soon. But do always remember that there is this so called mental barrier for the traders point of view. If its goes to $8000 I'm seeing a few dumps because its really hard not to take home some profits. I have seen it before and $8000 is not an exception. Later if their is a price correction and followed by a consolidation, then we can get the $8000 hump and moved to $10000.

Yeah there's a lot much of volatility with the growing value of btc as it was around 6000$ in start of month and it has broke his shell crossing 8000$ as 2017 was blooming year and with the growing popularity it will be more than 8000 it will go through many limits, investors are looking forward for the upcoming year as a golden year for them.

Yes, and the irony is that the higher bitcoin goes, the more people become interested in and decide to buy it. When bitcoin hits the $10,000 level, it will be all over the news, and big investors will not want to miss it. I think we are still early in this bull market.

We might see a new All time high today. As i post this, bitcoin surged up to $7916 on bitfinex (from $7770~) in a couple minutes. Once the $8k resistance is broken, we might go as high as 8.5 i think (and $8k becoming the support level for the next runs).

I agree that there are certain psychological levels, and I think $8,000 might be one but it is not that strong of a barrier considering how far btc has gone up this year.

I believe $10,000 will be the next major psychological level similar to how $1,000 was a major level back in 2013. Sure btc might even go slightly above it briefly, but I think we will see a strong pullback when it gets there, probably back down to $6,000.

The current rate is $7934 and to be honest, I didn't even expect the levels of $7K in this year. Things are gaining momentum with a rapid speed and we will surely hit $10K level in next year but as of now I still believe that we are going to experience a correction in the price and then it will settle below $6.5K. However, I am confident that Bitcoin will perform very well in the long run and buying at any point below $10K is a cheap buy.

Everybody knows this is just the beginning. I think BTC and major alts, ETH, DASH, LTC, NEO, will face bonanza next year. I would not be surprised to see BTC at 20-30k end of next year. Alts should grow even more since now lots of people ask themselves which alt can repeat BTC growth?

such a huge amount 20-30k by next year end,great sympathy on bitcoin although im a big fan of bitcoin but i cant really think of bitcoin hitting 30k usd that quick.i dont think bitcoin can make that easy butbim sure in 5 years thats possible..sorry mate just my own opinion

At the time i make this comment, bitcoin's price has reach to 8000$. I just have predicted the price would reach to 8k for the end of this year, and now, everything go too fast that i haven't recognized it. I'm really excited in the market now, it will be busy for the end of this year.

At the moment, Bitcoin price has broken the peak 8k$ ) 8k$ is the strongest resistance based on past price movement and Bitcoin price did it, it reached over 8k$ so I think it'll go to the moon very soon ). Hope to see 10k$ or maybe even more than that at the end of this year. LOL. At the moment I think altcoin price will go down because of the ALT/BTC pairing.
