guys i have question regarding this OP!

for exemple if i live in Morocco, and Crypto is banned,

can i sell my crypto for USD(bank transfert) in exchange website like bitstamp or any other to receive money in bank ? without any problem even if crypto is ban ? or i will be in trouble.

what ban exactly mean in this situation ?

Yes.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/morocco-regulator-bans-bitcoin-payments-143304111.html

French and slighter longer version:
https://telquel.ma/2017/11/21/loffice-changes-interdit-lutilisation-du-bitcoin_1569648

Quote
It added that all of Morocco's financial transactions with foreign countries must go through intermediaries approved by the authorities and be carried out in foreign currencies listed by Bank Al-Maghrib, the country's central bank.

So this makes even selling bitcoin abroad punishable as it is a transfer of value not done according to their "laws".

Thought Bitcoin is a great online currency but most of the user are Bitcoin ,they use Bitcoin many different ways.

So the users of bitcoin are bitcoin that use bitcoin? Smiley))

So are a lot of things. Some governments are incredibly short sighted. But then again, you can't blame them for being horrified of the potential of Bitcoin.

I think in most of the countries bitcoin is not illegal but yet they do not take any decision about bitcoin,  I am hopeful that very soon they are going to turn bitcoin as legal currency.

Yes there are still some countries that the bitcoin is illegal. Because they think the bitcoin its have a high chance of rising up the crime activities and maybe the bitcoin they cant control it. If they allowed the bitcoin in their country im sire that the bitcoin is fast spread in their country because of its good benefit and their money country will ignore

Bitcoin makes the government no tax, and it supports a lot of dark web trading, such as arms, drugs, money laundering and so on. I think some small countries can ban bitcoin, because they are better control.

Yes some countries consider bitcoin as illegal because of the involvement of money. Others even call bitcoin as scam.

Bitcoin is illegal in some countries, that's true. But I'm confused with the punishment that should be given to people using bitcoin in a country that forbids bitcoin. I think that a proper penalty for such a thing should not be more than a fine of money. Or even if you have to be in jail, do not take too long.

There are a lot of countries where using of bitcoin is illegal it is because of the threat and because of the government that banned bitcoin in that country its all depend of them they are the one to deside because they are the governemnt but sometimes it is all about money they dont want a high technology just because they cant corrupt money.

Is that true ...
if it's true that's really good news, it means that bitcoin is increasingly acknowledged to have very interesting value.
Certainly the government in the country understands the benefits that can be obtained from bitcoin and of course to boost the country to move forward.
hopefully more good news about bitcoin progress.

I do not know what causes bitcoin to be illegal in a country. but, I think it would be very harmful. well, bitcoin can provide a very good boost for each country that receives it. it is able to make people grow.

Many countries have banned Bitcoin because of its decentralized nature. The government would never allow anything to come in the mainstream which are out of there control as government can't regulate it's flow.
Another reason for government to ban Bitcoin is its anonymous transactions. The transactions of Bitcoin can't be traced so it is a very good medium for illegal transactions and hence can pose a threat to security of a nation.

I wish people would just start being accepting of cryptocurrency instead of bashing it just because it isn't green paper or tangible and because of the fact that they can't collect tax as easily on it.

Like my country in Indonesia.BTC in indonesia is ilegal
But now there are some place that allow Btc as means of payment in my country

You may be mistaken, the Indonesian government does not currently prohibit bitcoin. They simply informed that bitcoin was not valid for payment, but the circulation of bitcoin in Indonesia was allowed.
