I'm Ed, from Salarium.

Salarium is a payroll and e-banking platform that already provides services to hundreds of companies, and over 10,000 employees. Most of these employees already use SALPay, our debit MasterCard paired with an e-wallet. We provide banking services to Filipinos that no other banks can.

Most of our customers (about 50%) are BPOs, so they receive their money from countries abroad. Filipinos get paid twice a month, so the costs of sending the money every 2 weeks through traditional banking are incredibly costly. Not to mention that, once they get their money in the Philippines, they will have to transfer it into our e-wallet ecosystem to pay their employees!

SALPay Tokens solve this problem, that our clients have been asking about. In fact, when we released the first information about our ICO, several of our clients reached out to us to try it as soon as they can!

And SALPay Tokens don't only help us with that: Our currency will also help us tap into the remittance business, which is huge in the Philippines (overseas Filipinos send around USD26 billion every year, and growing). We can help them send their money straight into an account with a MasterCard, ready to spend or cash out.

With Smart Contracts, we will also be tapping into the freelancer market, putting the money in escrow and using our time and work-tracking tools to send the payment to the freelancer as soon as the work is done, or back to the employer if the contract hasn't been honored.

I was asked yesterday if what is my motivation in buying Sal Tokens. If this is for investment or (i forgot the other one)  But i guess it is something to do with the remittances etc. But for me, I would like to try this as an investment. Honestly, i didn't try cryptocurrency yet but i have a background with other investment types here in the Philipppines. I believe that this is being traded also in a exchange, so i would like to know the exchange where i can  see the historical performance of ETH and where can I avail this? I trust for your reply the soonest. Thanks.

 Our bounty program is targeted to people who have blogs, video blogs, and review ICOs or cryptocurrencies. We have put aside 10% of the total tokens for people that will write a fair review of our ICO.

 Yes, we're already compliant with BSP in our current business, of which the ICO will become a part of. Regulation is not really a concern for us. And we are looking into a signature campaign for sure.

Regarding the KYC, yes, this is one of the items specified on the whitepaper:

The Salarium Initial Coin Offering will be subject to conditions, amongst others, that:

Thanks for your questions! The concept of SALPay and the Exchange Network could theoretically be applied with other cryptocurrencies, but the problem in the Philippines and many other countries is that these cryptocurrencies lack liquidity and a network to actually exist.

This is why we are doing the ICO: to provide funds to get the licenses for the exchanges (the only way we can ensure low fees) and to provide liquidity for the network.
