Basically, If you can afford to lose your amount then continue investing it in Bitcoin.  Even if Bitcoin's price right now is very promising because of the sudden increase within a short period of time. Yes, if OP is going to have to spend that in alts (for example), he had best be careful so as not to mess it all up. It is one thing to enter Alts; it is another thing to lose on it.

The only good thing about alts is that if he is good at trading, he can leverage on the pumps and dumps once in a while to increase the amount he has, otherwise, I will advise he keeps the fund in an ever growing currency such as bitcoin.

Any amount of money if used properly, he can actually make a lot from it. It may not be enough to invest, considering the level of effort and time it is going to take for anyone to really get it going good and compounding. That's the case for most of us. Every invest has its return and risk. low risk low return and high risk high return. you can always do a fixed deposit kind of thing but it will give you very little return where cryptocurrency will give you very high retun. But the risk is also very much high. So you should be ready to afford all your money to be lost (worst case scenario).  

Also ETH can have a good future. Investing in ETH can also be profitable. Also 200$ is a enough investment for investing in bitcoins. Surely you cannot have plenty of profit immediately but purchasing bitcoins worth 200$ can also be profitable and it can increase by multiple times in the future as the price for bitcoins is increasing rapidly.

Honestly when we invest in digital currency then we are risking our future. We all know that investing in digital currencies is very risky. But the opportunity to be able to earn profits is also fairly large, each investment must have advantages and disadvantages of each. Excess amount or all the amount, that comes later. What comes first is how much do you know about the bitcoins and its market. If you are well aware of the fluctuations and ups and downs occurred in the recent past and you were studying the market with interest, than it does not matter how much you invest, but if you want it as your secondary investments, then the better idea is to go with the excessive amount.
