Investing in ico's is something very profitable, but you should really take care about in which ico are you just putting your funds. It would be a mess if you invest in the wrong ico and you suddenly lose all your funds, it happened to me on the past, and a lot of people are passing through the same because of Coinfido (it is a big ico who scammed everybody in this forum during this days) They rised a lot of money and they just dissapeared with it. Nobody can know if it is a real scam, but at least, if you find the good one, then it is going to be very profitable.

I would recommend you to invest in ICO only if you spend enough time on researching about the ICO before investing! There are a lot scams around which are hard to distinguish sometimes and seems legit. But if you do a thorough research on some factors, only then you would be able to find the real one. Some key points could be: market existence, proven team, elaborate whitepaper, clear roadmap etc. Always be careful.

If you take my example. That I from buying ALTCOINS earned more than ICO. However, the profit from ICO I expect in six months, a year. Then it will be possible to watch. I like the projects in which I put my money. I chose them for a long time, waiting for some. Before buying some coins, I do not read anything, just see the news in the Telegram. I know this is for a short time.

Actually, both decisions are profitable. Buying altcoins and investing in ICO's will both give you profit. But of course you have to make the right decision on where and when to invest. You have to study it carefully and do a little research about it. In buying altcoins, choose the coin that is already established, with a stable value, and a good reviews or feedback. In choosing the right ICO, you have to study carefully their business plan, read their whitepaper, read their reviews, transparency, and their team. If you planned it carefully, there is a good chance you'll gain profit, if not, there is a chance you might be scammed.

I think both can be profitable. Both has the potential to give you profit, but of course there are always a risk so you have to planned it carefully. There are many scams out there because of some selfish and worthless people so have to choose the right coin and the good ICO. In buying altcoins, maybe the safest way is to buy coins that are established and in the market for a long time already like bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, monero, and lite. In that way, you'll minimize the chance of losing money. In choosing the right ICO, you'll have to extend a little effort in studying it. Check their websites, their whitepaper, the feedbacks, telegram, the business plan, the transparency and the team behind the project.

Anyway, dont invest in ico's if you dont even know how do they work, because you can easily lose all your funds in there and it is a huge risk to run with. Better to invest in those coins that you know how do they work, instead of trying to figure out how the hell you are going to get profit from an altcoin that is never going to get listed and will only give you dividens (i have seen so many cases of those altcoins) But there are some altcoins that are worth it, you have to pay attention to those big bosses, because they are profitable.

It definately depends on the coin you are going for. Some ico's are good but other times it's a devil in disguise. Look into it thougj. Do your own dilligence that means research.

I have been so long on this forum and I could be stated that it is more profitable in investing on ICO because they will give 30% discount more or less. But in ICO, there's a lot of scam ICO. If you are avoiding scam ICO, you must choose to buy altcoins at a very low price and then sell it at a very high price. Disadvantages of buying altcoins are waiting for a very long time before you can get a real profit.

I think that buying altcoin which is already listed is more safety, because when you invest in a project you can't assure the success of it it's more risky.

If you understand the company offering the ICO, and you believe they are doing something better, then they can be profitable. If you do believe in what you've invested in you can support that company by spreading the word and generally they have a 'Bounty' or affiliate link so you can get others on board...for a bonus yourself. So this in itself can compound your investment. So it works both ways...you help, you get more, and the company gets exposure. Just make sure you get into a trustworthy and good one!

Participating in ICO's can be more profitable, but it is more risky too. Some have earned up to 10x profit with investing in ICOs. But there is a high probability that you lose your money too. You should be very careful and spend a lot of time and do research on ICOs. If you choose the proper one, you will make a huge profit.
You can also invest in altcoins. There are many profitable altcoins. In this case your money is more safe, especially if you invest in popular altcoins with high market cap like Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash and Monero.

investing in ico risky but have higher potential for good profit if you invest in good coin you must research before investing but if you dont know what you doing and just keep investing in ico you will just lose your hard earn money so i will suggest if you will just keep it in bitcoin because price of bitcoin will rise again in the few month or year so you will still earn some profit

The more profitable for me is investing ICOs but it is to risky. but when you invest you must search the background or information when you are invest to ICOs. We all know buying altcoins can earn profit and you can save but for me investing is the best.

Yes i agree with you.i guess you have to really do extensive research on the project before investing.I am really feeling bad for those who invested in scam ICO's such as Coinfido. All the same i hope they recover their hard earned monies elsewhere

Here again it depends on the ICO. I have done extremely well with ICO's. I do however do an extensive reseach before investing.
