Do we Need Altcoin?

We need as much as possible such crypto-currencies, which would have many different useful functions in different spheres of our life. All of them pass through the market and it discards all unnecessary, leaving only useful types of crypto currency. This is the basis for improving crypto-ala.

Some altcoins have a much better technology than bitcoin. So I think we need different altcoins. Although I'm not sure we need as many altcoins as we do right now.

But the market still needs Altcoin to break out the monopoly power of Bitcoin which makes this coin become more higher in the market.
