Decentralize application is not only a solution for payment, but also a new idea for designing software. And of course we need altcoin. For a trader certainly not satisfied with just bitcoin alone.

There are Bitcoin, and also there are Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold and B2X that we use it as an altcoin, but do we still need other altcoins? as i knew in the forum on the altcoin section there are much announcement about new altcoins almost everyday. do we still need that altcoins?
Yes it is good to have the Altcoins because if they did not existed then for sure most of us will not afford to invest in Bitcoin currency because for sure the price of it will become more expensive to purchase. So with the existence of Altcoins, the balance in the market is maintained in which we can now free to choose the desire Crypto currencies investments at affordable values. |

Yes of course we still need them, they have create a lot of promising project to increase this industry and they will keep exist and become a good alternatives for investors.

Yes! We do need altcoin. Altcoin has deepen and broaden the scope of cryptocurrency as a whole! Who would have thought of token with all it's applications and it's development when altcoin was literarily forking bitcoin. Altcoin is making cryptocurrency more popular and divetsifying to area bitcoin may never get to!

of course we need it, altcoin is bring many technology and make sure is will bring bright future.
also altcoins gives us an opportunity to invest into something where price is still lower since we won't be experiencing that feeling on Bitcoin

requires altcoin for investment and other uses. because each coin or token has its own function and concept. such as eth and bitcoin today as a comparison. both are very different. but complementary

There is no sense to talk about altcoins that they are needless. But when most of the altcoins appear on the market users buy them. I agree that this is strange thing but prices of unknown coins are growing. |

Almost those altcoin threads are not real altcoin. Some threads are the ICO coins, or some coins created by small company, developer groups or force want to have achievements in the development of cryptocurrency or simple is money  . In my opinion, some ICO projects is really neccessary for the world, example Binance, Ethereum, Ripple, etc. These coins are also from the ICO to develop and get success like now.  |

Yes we need altcoins but we do not need more then we already have i think we have like 1200 coins in total and nobody follows them all everyone follows the most popular ones and they only try to follow one if they see how much they can make.

I do not see value in these crypto-currencies except that they have lower fees, but in time they will all go up like bitcoin.

Well i think that these altcoins are the alternative cryptocurrencies launched after the success of Bitcoin. Generally, they project themselves as better substitutes to Bitcoin. Altcoins can differ from Bitcoin in a range of ways. Several altcoins offer a more versatile programming language to build applications on top of, while yet others offer more privacy compared to Bitcoin.

I need another altcoin, because altcoin also has the potential to grow, and making it an investment would be a way to make a profit. |

Because 99% of them are pump and dump schemes. Only rare of them will ever find any applicable use in the next year or two. The altcoins create a playground for testing features and concepts that would never make their way quickly into bitcoin. The bad coins with nothing to offer are noise that you'll find in any natural system. The altcoins with something to offer are the signal. We must take the good with the bad. An altcoin may develop with the right mixture of innovation, community support and development expertise to gain prominence over bitcoin. We're in the early days of what promises to be a long cycle of technological development.

Yes we need them because they have their own purpose and if ever a new coin is same concept with the other sometimes the new ones is better than the old ones. Altcoins has different functionality and we chose those coins that we think we can use in our daily lives and the rest are just shitcoins.
