It is well worth it. In the short time maybe there will be a correction, however, in the long term you will find $8200 a very reasonable price when the price is doubled or tripled. I guess if you invest now, you are still an early adopter of bitcoin, because the majority is still not on board, you can imaging what would happen when majority of the world is on board, owning 1 of 21 million when total population is 7 billion.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Is bitcoin still a good investment for newbies? Is it worth to pay almost $8200 for 1 BTC today?

Bitcoin price is at $9200 right now and not $8200 anymore. Yes, i guess it is. What if btc price will not go down anymore. Will you buy for much higher price? For me, i will take the risk to invest, for it will definitely increase and i can get a profit.

You can still buy bitcoin because the demand of this coin never stop so it will increase as time passes by. If you already buy bitcoin at 8200 $ you have at least 10% profit as of now. Do not hesitate to invest because you can miss another good opportunity again

As everyone has mentioned above, buying fractions of a bitcoin is possible, but what I would like to chime in on is whether its a good time, and if not when?

The cold hard truth is its a speculative gamble. If you believe in bitcoin and it's technology, there really isn't a wrong time to buy, but if you;re just trying to make a profit, perhaps wait for a market crash.

if you can afford to lose the such amount of money, go for that, but the idea is to buy a fraction of BTC and wait.
There is no crystal ball who will tell you when it's the next drop or pump of BTC price, my advice is to buy a fraction and do the same slowly every week/month.
Remember to not go full head down into this world, stay safe, go slowly and keep buying Smiley

i agree, there is no exact formula in investments, every seconds matters, it does not depend on how big or small your investments are, you just have to tests the market every now and then, if your guts tells you to dive now, then go, but if you feel you will lose then don't, its a game of money, which is a serious matter. try a smaller amount for a start, if it goes well, then add another amount.

Nobody will be able to give a defenitive answer to this question... Some people will tell you they think BTC will reach $10k before the end of the year, others will tell you they have credible calculations to support their theory it'll fall to $5k in a couple of weeks.

Personally, i'd suggest you have a look at the speculation subforum, and read up on bitcoin. If you personally believe it will rise, you can invest a little bit of your money. But never invest more than you're confortable losing. At any rate, bitcoin is a high risk/high reward investment.

Btw: you do know you don't have to buy 1 BTC at a time, right? Bitcoin has 8 decimals, the smallest amount you can theoretically buy is 0.00000001 BTC
bitcoin have reached $9,200 now and still kicking up so maybe the first speculation coming to reality to make $10,000 before year end.

And its even right to make more reading in speculation so you will have an idea what bitcoin will be for another days or weeks

And about what he can buy i think OP can make .1 btc enough amount to start for a newbie with that capital he can explore trading until he learns the right way how to earn here in crypto

Ofcouse l will surely say yes because that is a very big amount for me. As a newbie it's a big favor to have that pay. I am excited to have a salary of a very high rate. That it's really a big help for the needs of my family. That will inspire me to have more than of my 1st salary. As low seen and read about bitcoin it's really a big help to the people because even if you're home you can have income here. The good thing is age is not required, everybody's welcome as long as you know how to follow instructions of bitcoin. I'm inspired to joined in bitcoin because our community now are all having income to bitcoin.l saw all their life change some are rich now and others are bitcoin as their financial provider. The most important here is you can have earnings whether it is a big amount of small ,because you cannot pick money anywhere.

For those who only encounter Bitcoin recently. Bitcoin was a great investment for everyone.

if you fully understand the unlimited potential of Bitcoin and have a money to spend, don't hold your self, buy some portion of Bitcoin, wait for another 3 to 5 months and you will be amaze for the profit gain.

It doesn't matter if you are a newbie, just do your research on how to store it safely and you'll be fine. If you indeed bought one when you wrote this post you have already a profit of 1300$, and you will be probably have an even bigger profit in the coming weeks/months.

So i guess my final answer is yes, it is worth it!

You can judge for yourself, I was a newbie in July and there was a big crash in the bitcoin price and I saw a huge opportunity, but I missed it. The bitcoin dropped to $1870 and the next day started to rise again, then came the China Fuzz, red market for 3 days, big down, and while you posted the question bitcoin already went $1000 above your number and the new adoptions of hedging with bitcoin, yes you´re a newbie, but luckily you´re are still in the beginning of the game.

He is predicting $100,000 by July 2021. I just hope that his predictions come true. If that happens, then I can retire from my full time job and go back to my hometown in Nepal and settle there with my kids. But anything can happen in 3 years. What if the government bans Bitcoin?

For me investing or engaging in bitcoin wont matter if you are a newbie or an old timer. As long as you know what you are doing then so be it.  That is why it is absolutely necessary to research first before spending anything with bitcoin.  Remember that regrets are always experienced in the last part of your journey,  therefore beforw reaching it you must be able to prepare yourself first.

I wouldn't purchase one whole bitcoin for $9k+ as a newbie. Maybe you can buy a portion of one, but you should research more and try to find what's comfortable before you jump in. Even if you do, get ready for long-term dips and rises and profits.

I dont have any regrets to those people who wants to buy 1 Btc for $8200, as long as they are capable and can afford. But, for a newbie to do such things, it is more advisable and wise thinking if he assures that he is already aware to the Bitcoin worlds, its corresponding risk, losses and gains in particular.

Why not think about the bitcoin as new fresh start if you started it as newbie. I mean you could always catch up the prices of 8200 dollars as the cost which you saw it for the first time and you never know that it was worth fe dollars in the past. IF you think it that way then I'm sure you will find it nothing. Im suggesting you to get into bitcoin now and see for yourself that this price was nothing in the past when you see it from the future because by that time it would cross 50K nark for sure. This is not a joke but a true instinct that many of the crypto users have got and it will be truth one day. So. better you get in and learn many ways to earn it or trade it.
