Is your goal to basically replace twitch? Or are you just offering streams for any sports / e-sports?
Hi! Our goal is to eliminate the following weaknesses of the existing streaming platforms: 1. Limited opportunities for users and streamers to interact and no personalization options. 2. Restriction of users in the ability to earn from their hobbies. 3. Advertising is persistent and usually there is no option to disable it. The users are frustrated with the advertising and try to avoid it in any possible way. 4. Every user who wishes to stream their game and earn from this action cannot do it on a regular basis, while they expect to start earning money just after the registration in the system and wish to have more tools to monetize their streams better.

There is clearly a use case for a platform similar to Twitch.tv that would offer viewers and streamers a new level of interactivity and authentic monetization schemes. Play2Live is the platform of that scale, facilitating numerous ways of interaction between a streamer and a viewer including a bilateral system of tasks, enhanced content generation process, totalizator and many others. Compared to the simplistic chat communication and donation options provided by the existing platforms, it is a real step forward in terms of interaction and monetization. Play2Live opens possibilities for monetizing the streamers’ content, which leads to a better quality of entertainment and interaction for the users.

You said that streamers may earn money with almost registration on your platform. Well, I am like a newbie streamer who has about ~130 viewers during the prime time. I would like to know what exact advantages I get changing twitch to P2L (realize that I will not lose anything)
First of all, you'll get far more abilities to monetize your streams (11 ways in total compared to 4-5 on the existing platforms). That gives you ability to earn more with the same audience. Second, you'll get a unique system of interaction with your viewers, which will incrase their involvement, retention and attraction of new viewers. Besides, your viewers will also have a unique ability to earn money from the platform, so their migration won't be an issue. Third, it's far more easy to withdraw funds, which is especially criucial for newbie streamers: an internal exchange-gateway provides you with the ability to easily convert tokens and withdraw the money in any part of the globe, there are almost no minimal withdrwal limits and no bureaucracy thanks to the use of cryptocurrrency.

Bureaucracy is awful.. one of the main problems actually( wish everyone could get use of your service, good luck Smiley
Thank you!

Interesting how all the things will be realized. Would it be possible that you disguise any details one day?
I am not quite sure I can understand what exactly do you mean. I'll be more than happy to answer if you elaborate Smiley

I meant some details about blockchain solution for your project. Why did you decide to use it, not ordinary things that used before? Or maybe I’m not right and you just issue your token for in-platform payments and it has nothing in common with blockchain model.
I’m quite new to this, moreover I’m not an IT specialist. May not understand lots of things, but want to learn how it works. Honestly, I don’t need a requirement to use blockchain model for P2L streaming platform. I must be wrong though! Wink
No, it's not just to issue tokens. Blockchain is the backbone of Play2Live functionality - no other technology that currently exists on the market can provide 15 peer-to-peer interactive features for system participants (streamers, users, tournament operators) allowing them to earn money by sharing revenue with the platform.
Blockchain technology allows to establish an internal economy rich in features available for platform participants. No other technology so far can better facilitate the development of internal currency and provide transparency of interaction between the users. Blockchain addresses a number of inefficiencies and offers unique advantages over conventional streaming platforms, whose features have remained virtually unchanged over time.

Wow that’s cool! Had approximately the same question Smiley
Well then the platform must have lots of advantages compared to twitch. I believe you are conducting the right policy. You also have nice view on how it must be, interacting of both sides shouldn’t be as it’s now. It it restricted, not interesting. All you can do is donate and play voice massages. Chat of course, spamming in chat is getting annoying. I wish you are going to ‘legalize’ it somehow. Changes are needed for twitch too, but I hope you will be able to create a right trend.
Will be waiting for forward news) thanks

Chat is fun  Grin Cheesy Grin Cheesy
But you are right, there are not many options to interact with streamer instead of spam, especially if streamer is popular. Donations, yes, but you must pay for this.  Undecided
Established situation near twitch doesn’t encourage. I’m waiting for great development of chat system, subscribers’ advantages, appropriate rewards for users who help twitch to earn Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Chat is not funny  Angry  Just like a spam box in mail client.
Ofc sometimes it’s ok to hyip around news. But mostly it’s just discouraging.

Hi kokokoin, this was exactly the type of answer I was looking for. I am not too familiar with Twitch in regards to its functionalities for streamers and users, but as you describe it it seems your platform is a real improvement over what Twitch offers. I guess you have a real selling point then.

The content is of people who wants to stream their favorite games Smiley
It’s like twitch but with much more options to monetize your activities using platform (as viewers as well).
Do you know what twitch is? It’s a platform where you can show how you are playing different games or just live shows of YOURS Smiley it’s not criminal at least.  Grin

They really developed the twitch platform, if it legal to say this.
I wish to try it, especially task system.

I would like to see something special. I don’t know what actually, really. That’s why I’m not founder of p2l probably.
I found this project by chance and really like it. I use twitch quite often, I hope I will be able to use this platform even more!

‘The streamers could assign tasks to the users during a broadcast (for e.g., to make a small donation, to watch another stream). The users are rewarded upon accomplishment.’

These tasks are actually the same as ordinary activities done by users every day, but now they are tasks. Could you describe more interesting ones? I guess you have!

It's just a start with few features. P2L is interested in attracting huge amount of people, both streamers and viewers, they will find a solution for tasks making.

The most powerful way to obtain information about what to do is to ask users, I don't mean that devs must listen to users and it by this way. I mean they will be able to find some really interesting ideas among tones of inappropriate ones.

It is also clear, that if the project will do it best, then we will get lots of increasing changes not only on P2L, but also on Twitch, because it in turn must try to return all the audience. It seems complicated but nice. I find it special, have many ideas how to do this (not realize in programming, just many ideas that could be true). When it starts working, from the early beginning they'll face different obstacles, among them is lack of commercial space. Because majority of people are not ready for ICOs yet. Or at least lots of them are just not interested in investments at all.

Reasonable notions, but for me the more interesting thing is how both companies are going to divide contractors for tournaments’ live streams. Contracts with tournament hosts or smth

Now I doubt a little about rationality of doing tasks. How to understand ‘make a small donation’ ?
You pay more money to earn less? Or it’s about a little compensation?)

Really nice ico for gamers and streamers! How are you going to attract second to your platform?
Thanks! I am sorry, but what did you mean by "attract second to your platform"?

I meant streamers. Have you already developed any instruments for attracting them?
